She felt Tristan stiffen on her arm as they made their way through the softly lit halls of the restaurant that led to the VVIP section on the second floor. Glancing at him, she saw that his face was like stone, jaw set, eyes hard and expressionless. Before he could have time to register her gaze, she turned back and continued staring forward at the back of the primly dressed waiter who led them.
