The silent buzz of activity all around her was giving her a headache. From her corner at the back of the restaurant, she rubbed at her temples tiredly and silently glared at the people that milled around her obliviously, all carrying an irritating aura of self importance. The cozy interior of the restaurant was lit up in a soft amber hue that suddenly seemed too bright against her pounding head. It didn't help that she felt so out of place with her plain, white office shirt and suit pants in comparison to the sea of well tailored tuxedos and ruffles of silk and satin around her. She had agreed to dinner but even she had to say, Roy had outdone himself with this one, a 4 star restaurant. Knowing him, she had half expected a quick meeting in a fast food restaurant or a cinema.
