The blare of her ringing phone jarred her out of her thoughts. She inserted her ear piece and connected the call. "Are you there?". Tristan's voice came through the line. "Almost". "Don't get me wrong. I do trust your instincts and all but.......are you sure you want to start from him?". "I am". She pulled into the parking lot of The City Museum and turned off the ignition. "I have a funny feeling about him. I would rather start from him straight up". "What if he isn't the one?". She shrugged. "I simply move on to the rest. I just need to hear his voice, that's all the confirmation I need". "And you have to do that alone?". "This is my job, Tristan. I'm not involving you in this part". "What if I asked to come?". "Then I would say no". She heard him mutters a string of curses.
