18. The truce

Alexander dragged Narcy by the arm until they reached his office, when they got there, he let her go with little delicacy making the woman fall flat on her ass on a chair.

- What the hell were you thinking coming to my office and screaming like that? - Alexander was never an aggressive husband, but this time he was fuming.

- And what were you thinking filing for divorce? What reason could you have to divorce me? - She said in an arrogant way.

- Are you kidding me? You are never home, you neglect the children, our emotional and even s****l relationship is non-existent, do you want me to continue? - The CEO replied

- Ok, let's calm down a little. I don't neglect the children, they have a nanny, and it's her job to take care of them, and if our relationship is like that it's because you spend half the week traveling, and maybe I've exaggerated a little with my social commitments, but that's all, I don't see a real problem here honey. You just must be a little more understanding, that's all. -Narcy made excuses as always.

- No, I don't accept your excuses, not anymore, I want a divorce and that's final. - He replied succinctly.

Narcy was silent for a moment, she seemed to be weighing her options. She went from being angry to conciliatory and now she had no choice but to negotiate.

- Do you want me to sign the divorce? Well, I want 50% of your company. Give it to me and I'll sign whatever you want- A calculating Narcy said.

- Are you out of your mind?!!! I'm not going to give you s**t! This divorce is going to happen whether you like it or not, but if you sign, I will consider giving you a considerable alimony. - Alexander offered, he wouldn't have left her pennyless anyway.

- No!! you think about it Alexander! This is my last offer: Give me 50% of your company's shares and I’ll sign the divorce, if you give me 10% more, I won't even fight for the custody of the children, and you can go far away with those savages for all I care. - When Narcy spoke, Alexander realized the monster she had become.

- Just think about it Alexander and call me when you have an answer. - Having said that, Narcy left the CEO's office thinking about how bright her future be if Alexander gave up his shares, it would be wonderful, and she wouldn't need him anymore to have a high social status.

Well, if she wanted to fight he would fight her, he went to his computer and saved the video recording of his office, no one knew he had cameras in his office and only he knew how to activate them with a special switch on the wall, and seeing Narcy’s attitude he pressed when they entered his office, he usually activated the cameras for short periods of time, like this one, when he wanted to keep record of a particular meeting.

With the unpleasant encounter recorded on video, Alexander left his office, he wanted to see his Cassie, that woman had offended her, he needed to see her, and he knew where to find her, Monica's office.

Alexander let go of the breath he didn't know he was holding.

-Much worse, that's for sure. Hahaha- they both laughed sincerely, and he couldn't get enough of her laughter.

- I'm sorry you're going to get divorced; I wouldn't have wanted you to go through something like that either... what about Alec or Kyle? How are they taking the whole thing? - She said with sympathy. For Cassie her children were her priority, and she imagined that was the case with Alex.

- Her mother has been away from home for almost a week, and they haven't even asked about her, so you can imagine how detached Narcy is from their lives. Even so, I think they could take it badly, I hope they don’t, but we'll see. I want to talk to them about it this weekend, drop the bomb and then spend a fun day to cheer them up, maybe buy them some toys or something- Alex commented thoughtfully

- Alex, about what Narcy said, you know, your masculinity and all that... I had you... and if there's something you couldn't be, that’s a bad lover- Cassie winked at him and quickly left the office leaving the CEO frozen with a silly smile on his face, He was a good lover!! At least for her, and honestly, she is the only woman whose opinion mattered to him in that matter!! He was going to get her back, and show her every day that she was right, and he was good in the sac, if he remembers correctly and he f*****g does, being with Cassie was... in bed they were... dynamite! Pure God Damn dynamite!!
