24. How dare you?
The boardroom was silent, everyone was in shock. Edward's accusation, Narcy's hateful scream followed by Monica slapping Narcy's cheek so hard she had to take two steps back to regain her balance. Alexander did not expect Edward to admit what he had done, much less talk about his accomplices and he would not have imagined in a million years he would accuse Monica of all people. -How dare you? In addition to betraying Alexander, you dare to slap me. -Narcy whined -How dare I? How dare you call me a traitor? Do you think I would steal from my cousin? - Mónica was fuming and besides Anthony, Alexander and Cassie nobody knew if she was angry ‘because she was indicted or ‘because she was guilty. -Of course!!! You're the finance manager, you had every opportunity to do it- Narcy continued.
