Caucus and his journey

When they met Ross

Following the map they reached uncle Jha’s house after two hours of flight. There was a small crystal that held a small amount of light which was enough to illuminate the whole house.

There was no sign of uncle but there was a young lady maybe in her twenties wearing the same umbrella dress, there was a burn mark on her right hand and she was unusually blond.

‘Does uncle Jha live here’ Voilet asked.

‘Yes, but he has gone outside.’

‘Will he be here soon’, asked George.

‘Yes, you can wait inside if you like’, said the lady.

everyone including Caucus entered the house, it was more like a hut but inside it was warm and cozy

Caucus was involuntarily staring at her

when their eyes met, trying to hide his nervousness Caucus asked her ‘are you a searcher too.’

‘No, I am a witch.’

‘Then why you live here with searcher.’

‘We volunteer searcher to find their magic, it feels good when they find one.’

‘I thought every witch and wizard would like to live in quanta world after getting their magic.’

‘Not all, living in quanta world means feeding magic to energy chamber once a month, some witch and wizard don’t want to serve king to fulfill his greed’, said the lady.

‘Feeding your magic to the chamber is one step closure to create your own sun, you won't have to live in dark after that’, said Caucus looking at her.

‘You don’t know anything, do you?

The only reason king is feeding that chamber is to collect enough energy to travel through space-time continuum so that he could destroy the earth and could rule the whole universe.’

She puts some of the potion from pot in five glasses and served them

just the thought of their planet being destroyed made them miserable,

‘if that’s what happening, if we donate our magic to it, then we don’t want to acquire magic’ exclaimed Anna.

‘We are risking every minute of our life not feeding our magic. Once in a week the king’s soldiers come here to take those who got their magic and who don’t get are fed to the chamber. Somehow we always managed to escape from their eyes. The moment we got busted will be the last day of our life’, said she.

Caucus trying not to stare at her again, ‘can’t we stop him from destroying the world….’

‘you can call me Ross.’

‘Ross?’, sighed Caucus

‘Combined power of all witches and wizards of this world will still be insufficient to defeat the king, so stop dreaming about defeating him and come to reality’, said she.

‘why is this potion so bitter’, Voilet asked Ross trying to drink it.

‘It is made of frog’s intestine and bull’s stool.’

Voilet puts his hand in his mouth and jumped out of the door throwing up in the way. Rest of them threw their glasses and joined Voilet.

Ross from inside ‘It’s the only thing that helps you get your magic, you will get used to it after you drink it two to three times.’

‘I don’t want magic if I have to drink that’ screamed Voilet still throwing up.

‘Did you get your power by drinking these stuffs?’cried Caucus from outside

Ross didn’t say a word, Caucus went inside to check if she was okay

‘I have to burn myself to activate my magic’ she goes on, ‘after days of hard work when I didn’t get my power. I thought it would be better if I burn myself up rather than be consumed by

the chamber I jumped into the fire. I can’t explain you the pain of being burn, at that time when I thought I was near to death fire around me just cooled down and the burnt in my body just healed except this’ showing the burn mark in her right hand ‘this is my magic mark, it’s red because it symbolized fire.’

‘amazing! Can you generate fire’, asked Voilet staring at Ross.

‘Why not, ignento incarous’, the fire chamber behind her blazed up. Everyone was watching it as if they had seen a ghost.

‘Have you already met with each other’ Uncle Jha entered into the room. Caucus standing ‘Alex send us here to get help from you in search of magic.’

‘I know, I just got a letter from him, so you are the one Alex always used to talk about. He was telling us the truth you must be really cute when you were a child to transfer into such a handsome man’, said uncle Jha looking at him.

‘Thank-you uncle’, Caucus sat again in his chair.

‘Today must have been a very hard day for all of you, so feel free to rest because from tomorrow your days will be harder.’

‘Are they going to live with us’, asked Ross clenching her teeth against each other.

‘Yes, dear I will love to give them shelter.’

‘How can you give shelter to 4 young men when you have a beautiful young lady over here’, Ross left for another room.

‘Don’t mind her, she don’t like it when she has to share her room with other.’

‘No, it's okay’, the five of them also moved toward the other room.

‘Do you think Ross is beautiful than me’, Anna mumbles on Voilet’s ear

‘My answer will hurt you’, chuckled Voilet and gets on to the bed with Caucus and George.

Day 1Everything was new for Caucus and his friends. Next morning but technically After 8 hours of their sleep as there was no sunrise. Caucus woke up to find something unusual about his body, he freaked out at first but after some time he was rather shy. He hurriedly changed his cloth borrowing one from uncle Jha’s closet. And went out to wash his inner clothes. Uncle Jha reached there at that moment and laughed at his condition.

‘I know that, having your body transferred into an adult overnight comes with a lot of emotions and control, u will learn to handle it in few weeks’, chuckled he.

Caucus cheeks became red and he couldn’t utter a word from his mouth at that moment.

Ross came there too, ‘why do you have to wash your clothes right after you woke up, does it mean you still pee in your bed’, said she.

‘I am out of here, handle her yourself’, said uncle Jha and went inside while Ross continued making fun of him.

‘Technically you transferred from child to adult in 15 seconds peeing in bed isn’t that shameful for you, is it?’, said Ross.

‘I didn’t pee in bed, and I also don’t use to do that when I was on earth.’

‘Liar.’

‘I don’t lie.’

‘You can tell me the truth, I can handle secrets well.’

Caucus furiously puts his cloth in one of the rope to dry and enters into the house giving Ross a terrifying look.

‘Your search starts from today, so wake up everybody, fast.’

Uncle Jha beats Voilet, George, and Migma who were still sound asleep in bed. They woke up screaming out in pain.

‘Why you have to wake me up so early, I am used to sleeping at-least 10 hours a day’, Voilet shouted jumping out of the bed while George and Migma went into another room where Ross was making morning potion. She puts that potion into five glasses and serves it to them.

‘I am not going to drink this potion, I would rather not have my magic’, screamed Voilet

‘If you want to get consumed by the chamber so bad then how can we stop you’, said uncle Jha taking the potion from his hand.

‘But how can you drink something which is made of frog’s intestine and bull’s stool.’

‘Who told you that nonsense, it is purely made of medicinal herbs.’

Ross hurried outside hiding her face with her hands.

Caucus and his friends drank their potions bottom to top.

After having their potions uncle Jha called them outside. He was building some sort of place to sit with a single bamboo stick for balance.

‘You have to sit in the top of this bamboo stick’, said he.

Caucus and his friends were astonished by the thought of sitting at the top of that bamboo stick.

‘Tell me you are kidding, uncle’, exclaimed Anna, George, Caucus, and Voilet together.

Where Migma was already trying to sit there. He was determined to find his magic to wipe away the disable thing from his head. But he couldn’t sit there for long he quickly jumped out of it in pain.

‘We will end up getting a hole in our butt’, exclaimed Anna trying to sit on her stick, ‘ouch! it seriously hurts.’

‘If you don’t dare to do it then sorry you are far behind gaining your magic’, said uncle Jha.

‘No, we have to do it guys, we don’t have anything to lose anyway’, said Caucus and tried to sit in his bamboo stick, but not for too long.

‘We could probably do it within 30 days guys’, said Voilet.

‘2 hour’, said uncle Jha.

‘Sorry.’

‘you have to master it in 2 hours, I have to go to find herbs and when I return I want to see every one of you in that stick’, uncle Jha picked a bag made up of bamboo and departed.

‘2 hour, seriously, I am taking back my words, being adult sucks’, said Voilet in anger.

‘We couldn’t give up now, If we want to get out of this mess we have to find our magic’, Caucus again sat on the top of the bamboo stick Voilet, Anna, George and Migma followed him but all of them couldn’t hold it more than 10 seconds.

‘We cannot do it on our own, we were fighting upon demon and lion until yesterday and now we are adult enough to balance on this stick? We need time, two hours is just not enough for us’, Anna exclaimed jumping out of the stick.

‘Wait we cannot do it on our own but someone can help us’, pointing inside the house Caucus called Ross.

‘Why are you shouting your throat out’, Ross shouted coming outside.

‘We are practicing to sit on this bamboo stick, and you are the only one here who can help us out’, Voilet said going near Ross

‘Yes, I can help you, I have already mastered it but if and only if Caucus admits he peed on the bed today.’

‘You peed on bed’, laughed Anna, ‘I didn’t expect that from you Caucus.’

‘I know you were child yesterday but that doesn’t mean you pee in bed’, Voilet joined the laughter.

‘I didn’t pee on bed, and I am not going to admit that’, Caucus exclaimed furiously.

‘Then forget about me helping you’, replied Ross

Ross moved around to go inside.

‘I admit it’, sighed Caucus.

‘say it briefly’, said Ross.

‘I admit I peed on my bed today, if admitting it worth mastering balancing.’

‘Fine, I will help you guys’ said Ross.
