Day-4

The training started early in the morning. Uncle Jha forced everybody to wake up and run after him. He took all of them except Ross to a very old but huge temple near the edge of a mountain.

He made them climb the whole 1000 stairs up to the temple and when they reached there. There were many sticks dug into the ground thinner than one in the house. He ordered all of them to sit above it. Everyone nodded their head and sat on those sticks. Their face expressed the pain they were feeling on their butt. Soon uncle ordered them to start focusing inside themselves again, they started repeating the whole process before they were completely inside themselves. Uncle warned them to gain consciousness before 15 minutes from then and have control in their aura, otherwise he alarmed them to make them meditate on even thinner stick.

‘Can I get little advantage, I don’t think I can complete it with my broken arm’, said Voilet.

‘You can’t escape saying that, once you reach your spiritual world broken parts won’t affect you.’

Voilet nodded his head keeping his eyes close.

Soon they were meditating and aura began to fill up the area around their body. Each one of them had a different aura around.

George’s aura was yellow while Voilet’s aura was green, Anna aura was blue and Caucus’s was black. The color of aura symbolized the type of magic they would have.

After aura began to form Voilet was the first one to come outside. ‘I made it’ he exclaimed in happiness.

‘You came out in 2 minutes. You barely went inside’ said uncle Jha in disappointment.

‘As you are the first one to come out, you will be going to that hill first’, Uncle pointed his hand to the nearby forest. ‘I have set some traps their, you have to focus and concentrate your mind to see the traps, there is only one way to come out of that forest so be slow and steady’, said uncle.

‘I will be right back’, said Voilet and he ran toward the hill.

It was already 10 minutes after meditation when Anna and George opened their eyes

‘Are we on time? Uncle’, they stood up from that stick.

‘yes, you are’, said uncle.

‘Did Voilet gave up on training, I was expecting it from him anyway’, said George looking at the stick next to him.

‘No, he didn’t, he came out far before you two did. He is already on his way to the hill. Now it’s your turn, watch out for traps I have set in there’, said uncle.

George and Anna headed toward the hill.

Now only Caucus was left there. Uncle Jha was waiting for him to come out.

When the clock was just about to hit fifteen he came out. After seeing none of his friends around, he said,‘ where are others?’

‘You should be asking if you made out in time or not. Rather than searching your friends.’

‘I know I made out in time. Yesterday when Ross made us focus on time. I created a time zone inside myself. I calculated the movement of my spirit over time and I forced myself out when it hit fifteen.’

Uncle Jha kept his hand on his shoulder ‘do you know what was the true purpose of today’s training?, It was definitely not to come out as fast as possible to be on time. It was to wait for the right time to come, it was to be able to connect your spiritual world to the physical world with time, I am proud to say you kept the honor of this training.’

‘After what I did to Migma, I can’t afford another mistake which could ruin my loved ones. I want to do whatever it takes to achieve my magic, I want to help you get rid of the king, I want Ross to have a normal life which doesn’t contain hiding and I want to free my father from the king’s trap’, said Caucus.

‘It’s your greatness to think every pain we are going through your responsibility. I believe in you but the child just know Migma being unconscious and Ross hiding from the king none of them is your fault. You have the right to have your own normal life’, said uncle moving toward him.

‘Thank-you uncle for having faith in me.’

‘It’s now time for you to start your second test, your friends have already started. Go through that forest’, he said pointing on the hill ‘and come out safely I will be waiting for you in the opening of its exit.’

After listening to the uncle. Caucus hurried toward the forest.

Voilet who went to the forest before everyone, puts his feet on one of the traps. Which pulled him upside down and hung him up. He started crying for help.

George and Anna were walking in the forest when they heard Voilet scream they hurried toward him. ‘Voilet can you hear me, where are you?’ shouted Anna.

‘I am here, please help me’, Voilet shouted back.

Soon he was visible, then Anna and George went toward him to help him down. ‘This forest is haunted’, Voilet screamed. ‘Either way we have to complete this task’, said George.

They moved forward a little more Conscious than before. They avoided some of the traps and helped each other when someone was likely to fall in one of them. Like this they reached the deepest part of the forest. When they were just about to take another step they all fell into a well, it was dry and deep.

Caucus used his concentration and escaped every trap that came on the way, to help him escape those Anna had marked most of them with the help of some twigs. When he reached the middle of the forest he heard someone scream from deep down inside the ground. He focused his brain on the scream. He followed the sound and reached the well where his friends were trapped. It was too deep.

‘Wait for a little longer I will find something to pull you out’, he shouted from the opening.

‘We are cold Caucus, do something soon’ cried Voilet out of terror.

Caucus went around to find some rope-like structure but he found none. After a while he collected stems of climber and joined them with each other. He went to the opening and dropped it down.

‘One at a time’, he shouted ‘it’s not strong enough to hold all of you together.’

As his arm was broken they let Voilet go up at first. They tied the twig around his body and Anna shouted to pull him from down. Caucus used all his energy to pull the rope. After Voilet reached outside. Caucus again dropped the rope, this time George tied the rope around Anna, Caucus and

Voilet together pulled the rope until she was out. At last all three of them together pulled George out.

After they all were safe and free outside they divided their groups into two. When one group was in trouble the other one used to help them. Like this they all made out of the forest where uncle Jha was waiting for them.

While returning their home uncle Jha said, ‘the forest task was a group task for you, if you would had done that singly you couldn’t have made it out. You made it out because you worked as a team there. Lesson for today, when you fight against anyone in future, the individual you may win but the team you will win.’

‘We are incomplete without each other we will always support each other in need.’ said four of them holding each other hands.

‘I am dying out of hunger, I am already imagining Ross making sweet meals for us’, said Voilet making everyone laugh.

After reaching home Caucus as usual run into Migma’s bed, he was still sleeping there. ‘He will wake up soon now. His face looks brighter than yesterday’, said uncle Jha.

‘Everyone come here for a meal’ shouted Ross from the kitchen.

Anna, Voilet, and George were already there saving their seats, later uncle Jha and Caucus joined them. Ross served them mushrooms and rice. Everyone made themselves full of those. After the meal everyone thanked Ross for providing the delicious meal. ‘This was a reward for your hard work today’, said Ross with a smile so pretty that George had to shook Caucus to distract him from staring at her.

‘What’s the matter with you and Ross’, George asked Caucus when they were walking outside.

‘Why there should be a matter between us’, said Caucus trying to avoid eye contact with him.

‘You cannot fool me out dude, I clearly see you falling for her so hard.’

‘I am not, it’s just that I feel thankful to her for helping us with magic.’

‘If that is the case, I have never seen you stare at uncle Jha like you stare Ross.’

‘Believe me, she is just a good friend of mine.’

‘Okay, Caucus see I was 4 years older than you when we were on our world, I have seen the world more than you do, if you feel something and need something I will always be there for you.’

‘I know’, said Caucus.

‘Besides, I know it wasn’t peeing that day’, George laughed and went inside the house

Caucus soon followed him.
