Caucus got his magic

Day-12

When everyone was in the training early in the morning floating in the air. The air in front of them burned, the fire in the air sketched words saying, ‘ soldiers have already found the address of Avorian, they are now in an enchanted forest of Alaharmbra. I am with the king on our way to them. I somehow escaped the eye of the king to write you this letter. If we don’t do something now, innocent will die because of me.’ After reading the letter uncle Jha kept on saying, ‘ we have to reach forest of Alaharmbra.’ He was scared and confused. Caucus in his meditation heard uncle Jha saying ‘we have to reach the forest of Alaharmbra’, Caucus in his meditation begun to whisper ‘we have to reach forest of Alaharmbra’, he goes on saying it again and again. His whisper begun to turn into something loud. Anna, Voilet, George and Migma coming back from their meditation begun to look at Caucus , even Ross came out of the kitchen hearing him shout. Uncle Jha and Ross tried to get near him but his aura threw them outward. Soon his aura created a cyclotron of dust around him and when it was over Caucus was gone.

When Caucus opened his eyes he was at a forest, even the trees of the forests were inside aura of themselves. The whole forest was bright and was twinkling. There was a sweet aroma coming from flowers in the trees. The branches were moving even in small gusts of air and the leaves falling from the trees were disappearing in the air before it reached the ground.

Caucus had no idea where he was and what he was doing there. He paves his way in the complete silence.

While on the other hand seeing Caucus disappear everyone there begun to scream and went here and there to find him.

‘I know where to find him’, said uncle Jha and went inside, packed his bag, and set to the road.

‘I also want to come with you’, said Ross. ‘You cannot, you have to look after them and train them until I come back, I promise I will bring Caucus safely’, said he hugging Ross.

After walking some time Caucus heard some gossip behind coming from the edge of a river. He silently walked in that direction and saw a whole bunch of witch and wizards sitting around a fire with an extremely long and pointed nose. Having the body thinner as a pipe. They were wizard of Avory. He still couldn’t understand why he was there. An old witch suspected something was behind the tree. Caucus tried to hide but someone grabbed him from behind. 

‘What are you doing here boy’, said one of the old wizard.

‘He looks like he is one of the spy king sent for us’, said another.

‘Either way, he won’t leave this place alive.’

Caucus was pulling himself out from the wizard hold said ‘I don’t serve the king, I am just a searcher, it’s my 12th day in this world and I want to help you instead.’

‘You are lying on our face, you are a wizard.’

‘I am not lying, I am just a searcher and I don’t know what I am doing here, I was meditating and the second I opened my eyes I was here.’

‘It seems like you are craving for death, anyone can say you are a wizard by looking at your mark’ said the old wizard.

‘Which mark’, he ran toward the river and in his reflection, he saw a large black mark extending from his chin to his lower neck resembling the sketch of smoke’. He rushed toward Avorian and said, ‘I really don’t know about this mark, it’s the first time I am seeing it.’

‘What proof do you have in your defense?’, Asked the old wizard again.

‘I have nothing to show you, but I do know the king and his soldiers are looking for you, he has multiplied his search’, said Caucus in his defense.

‘But how do you know that?’, asked another witch.

‘My father Alex works for him, he was trying to find you first and warn you about him.’

‘Why a person serving king will want to help us?’

‘It’s because my father has to create one of you from magic to save my brother Migma, he is unable to speak, if he had got caught, he would have been fed by the energy chamber’, said Caucus shaking his voice.

‘What he did to provoke king against us?’, asked the old wizard furiously.

‘He put a small act of one of you trying to get inside the chamber’s room.’

‘How can he put all of us in danger to save a mute’, said the witch.

‘We aren’t ready to fight king anytime soon, we have to tell him the truth’, said the old wizard

‘It won’t help, he will kill us either way, we are a threat for him’, said the witch

‘Look what your father has done to us, we are doomed’, said the old wizard.

From the sky hundreds of unicorns were seen coming toward them. They all landed breaking trees around them. Above them were soldiers with golden armor. Soon the king and Alex were seen coming on a dragon. They both landed in front of Caucus.

Alex was afraid of seeing Caucus there.

The King came out of the dragon, ‘ everyone in this world are afraid of me, but how dare you came for chamber after running away from serving me’, ‘I guess you really made a death wish’, said the king.

‘It wasn’t us your majesty, your faithful court man Alex did those things with his magic to distract you from busting his mute son’ said the old wizard.

‘Is she telling the truth Alex, look at me’, king pulled his face and stared into his eyes. He threw Alex out of his hand making him fall hard on the ground. There was a burn mark on Alex’s face due to King’s hand.

Caucus ran toward him to pick him up.

‘Betrayal’, the king moved toward Caucus, he grabbed his face and stared at him ‘so, you five were working with that old shitty man, do you thought of escaping my eyes. I have to admit, you earther's has a lot of courage in you’, ‘so, you already exposed your magic’ said the king running his finger through his smoky mark, but it’s not going to help anymore, five of you along with that old man and his working lady will die from my hand, I have a better plan with you Alex’, said he.

‘We are ready to serve you, your majesty, we want forgiveness for our previous treason’, said the old wizard falling on his knee.

‘There is no place for forgiveness in my world, today is a very special day for me and my chamber. We both will have a feast tonight’, said the king.

‘You won’t have to do this’, came uncle Jha from behind.

‘See who joined our great celebration, this old shitty man is trying to tell me what I have to do’, laughed the king

his soldiers laughed behind him as well.

‘I am telling you the truth, your majesty, Caucus has magic to teleport. He teleported from searcher village to here in his first attempt without even knowing he had a magic. If we train him enough he can teleport from one world to another and can take others with him. If it happens you won’t need energy chamber to rule over other worlds’, said uncle Jha.

The king gave a close look at the mark in Caucus’s neck. ‘You hit me in my soft side old man, today I am very happy, I got Avorians in my side and I got a tool for teleportation’, exclaimed the king.

‘You must be lucky, today I am happy to forgive you for your treason Avorians’, said the king

‘Long live, your majesty’, all Avorians got on their knees.

He pulled Caucus toward him and said, ‘you better learn to teleport me to another world soon’, ‘you have got ten more days to master it, if you don’t show up within 10 days I will throw your father into the chamber’, ‘And you old man you will do whatever it takes to train him’. He grabbed Alex and hanged him in his dragon then he flew away with his soldiers and Avorians behind him.

‘father….. father… , don’t take him, please’, Caucus begun crying lying on the ground.

‘It’s going to be alright son’, said uncle Jha pulling him to his chest.

‘It all happened because I came here’, said Caucus.

‘You saved Avorians from getting killed, you have done the best thing you could have done’, said uncle.

‘I didn’t know how I get here, I was meditating and next time I was in this forest.’

‘I know, you teleport, it’s one of the greatest magic every witch and wizard wish to have’,

‘You are the second wizard who has this magic, first was Devorous who was the original of this world, people used to say he could teleport through different worlds and even could do time travels’,

‘I gave hope to the king not for you to serve him with your powers, I was buying us some time to train you to destroy that evil monster and free every living creature in this universe from his threat’, said uncle Jha.

‘I will promise you, uncle, I will work hard and destroy him’, whispered Caucus faintly.

Uncle Jha took his hand and ask Caucus to think about their house, to ask his spirit that he have to go there. Caucus did whatever uncle Jha told him. Soon they were floating in the air and gone.

They landed in front of the house. ‘We did it’, exclaimed Caucus in excitement he hugged uncle Jha. Hearing them Ross along with Anna, Voilet, George, and Migma came outside. Everyone hurried and hugged Caucus.

‘I got my magic’, shouted Caucus, everyone exclaimed in happiness around him.

‘Show us your magic now’, said Anna.

‘Okay, everyone hold me’, said Caucus. Everyone hold him and in a second they were at the kitchen.

‘You teleport us to the kitchen’, said Ross in disappointment.

‘I am sorry, I was just too hungry to think about other places’, said Caucus.

Ross began to cook dinner for everyone.

‘What happened to those Avorians’, asked George.

Caucus told him everything from him going there to king grabbing Alex with him. The happiness in their face after finding about Caucus’s magic just fade away.

‘Don’t be sad, from now on its not only Caucus, not only Anna, not only Migma, not only Voilet, not only George and not only Ross it’s us as a team, remember what uncle said when we came out of the forest, we will win if we fight together. We are going to use these 10 days and make us able to kick him out of his throne’, Said Caucus and everyone exclaimed ‘we can do it.’

After dinner uncle Jha said, ‘from tomorrow our new mission starts, no rest no breaks only training so sleep your heart out today, and this time Ross you will also be part of it.’

‘You sound like threatening us rather than encouraging’, said Voilet and went to sleep. While Ross was going to take a nap Caucus called her from outside. She went toward him, ‘what’s the matter?’ she asked. Caucus held her hand and closed his eyes, the moment he opened they were at the enchanted forest the one where Caucus teleport before.

Ross was just amazed at being in a new place with trees having an aura and whole forest twinkling like a diamond. It seemed as if trees were welcoming them by twinkling brighter and brighter.

‘When I came here before, the first thing I thought was about you’, said Caucus. He held her hand and said, ‘ that time when I was grabbed by the king, the pain of being consumed by chamber was way less than the pain of imagining the king grabbing you’, ‘I have promised myself I will never let any regret haunt me in future, I want to make every moment special with you’.

This time the leaves weren’t disappearing into the air they were disappearing at the touch of their skin. They were looking at each other, completely dissolved in one another.

‘This is it’, said Ross.

‘what?’ said Caucus.

‘This is the fairy tale I always dreamed of.’

She laid on the ground and pulled him next to her

‘Is it better than stars?’

‘Stars and trees doesn’t count, being next to you it’s better’, he said.

‘Really, how can a man who was born just 6 years ago can be so romantic.’

‘Technically I was born 21 years ago, you should know it.’

‘Do you know how to kiss?’

‘I know, I used to kiss my mom bye always before going to school.’

‘Oh my god!, You really need to catch up a lot’, she leaned toward him and put her lips into his. Caucus eyes were wide open.

‘Well, that was completely different, is it normal to do this, I mean you cannot get pregnant by doing it, right.’

‘Aww!, You are so adorable Caucus’ said she.

They spend the whole time talking to each other, they even didn’t notice when they slept.
