Chapter Nine That same evening, Aileen and Callan set out in their respective cars for Loch Fuar. It felt good to leave this darker city behind for Loch Fuar’s more close-knit community. On the way home, Callan’s phone rang. It was Aileen. ‘Hey! I thought since your car is ancient and without a radio, you’d want some company.’ Callan rolled his eyes. Aileen was too impatient. ‘Can we give this case a rest please, at least till we get back?’ ‘I just called for the company.’ Came the reply.
