Hades’ POV
When I lifted my eyes off the ground and watched my partner walk down the aisle in a lovely white bridal gown, I was overcome with happiness that I was unable to adequately convey. I questioned whether they had already planned this entire episode or whether they had planned her marriage to someone other than me because the wedding dress they had chosen for her was ideal for her physique.
I was immediately furious at that thought.
Okay, good. My wolf advised, "Don't ruin our mood by thinking all those silly thoughts." He said, "Our mate looks so lovely in her wedding gown," and I couldn't help but concur.
As Angelisa drew closer to me, I made an effort to suppress any additional feelings from my face.
She has a long name. What if we give her the name "Angel"?
Very good. I enjoyed it.
My gaze was fixed on her the entire time. He said, "Our mate, our angel." Her father's hands were shaking, and she had her gaze fixed on the ground. She never once turned to face me. What else might I anticipate from a bride who was forced into a marriage?
When he released her hands so she could stand across from me, her father didn't appear to be happy. neither her stepmom. Even my family members didn't seem to be in a good mood.
Why?
Because the majority of them believed that I was marrying a weak human only to protect the pack. While others were sympathetic for my partner since they were aware of my character!
Angel? She was the one I really wanted to know about, but I couldn't figure out what she was thinking or feeling.
Did she have any desire for this wedding to take place?
Should I care about it, too?
The father commanded, "Please hold her hands." Angel extended her hands to me, and I didn't hesitate for even a second to take hold of them. When her little, soft hand wrapped around mine, a spark spread across my entire body.
Even though I was an Alpha, the feeling was 10 times stronger in me than it would have been in a human. I knew she could feel it too.
My wolf began dancing joyfully as the ceremony got underway since, unlike yesterday, he was prepared for the wedding this time around.
I eventually found my partner, who is now my wife, with the phrases "I do" and "I do."
It has a great sound.
I now declare you to be husband and wife. The bride is yours to kiss.
After hearing this, my body erupted in excitement and I felt over the moon.
Kiss the newlywed!
I want to give her a mindless kiss, but I see how uncomfortable she is. I wasn't sure if it was a smart move or not. She wasn't staring at me directly, as though she was trying to avoid my eyes for some reason.
I despised that.
She needed to be gazing at me the same way I was. My gaze landed on her lovely pink lips, and I immediately felt the need to savor them. To get her to look at me, I lifted her chin and veil, but she had already closed her eyes.
Nope! This is not taking place!
She must look into my eyes if I want to kiss her.
"Angelisa, open your eyes."
Upon my command, her entire body came to a complete stop. She then gently opened her deep blue, ocean-clear eyes. Her eyes were silent and dangerous at the same time, precisely like the ocean.
I suddenly tightened my hold on her waist with my other hand and kissed her. I swiftly withdrew from her since I sensed that she was unprepared for it. I also distanced myself from her because I didn't want others to think that I had been in love with her since we met and that she was my soul mate.
The father said, "You may mark your Luna with Alpha Hades." My wolf became more excited, and my pack members howled with joy at this. The moment we both smelled dread, namely fear of our mate, my wolf's enthusiasm evaporated.
Anyone could tell by the way she stood that she was fearless and confident, yet this was far from the truth. I tightened my jaw in resentment because my initial impulse was to ease her dread and discomfort.
"I want to mark her right now, but we need to give her some time," he said.
I remarked, "I was going to say the same," and we both nodded sympathetically in agreement. After all, our companion had experienced a lot in a single day.
I broke the silence and said, "I am not going to mark her." At least not right now. I wanted to add that, but my inflated ego prevented me from doing so. " Take everything you need from your room. I told her with a poker face that my wolf was correcting me: "We will be leaving for our home in 30 minutes."
You could have expressed your affection with those words.
‘Whatever.’
***
As the half-hour mark approached, I suddenly became aware that something was off. The perfume of Angel wasn't as overpowering as it had been earlier. But that couldn't be true; she couldn't have left this area so soon after we got married.
Even my wolf began to become agitated.
I wanted to speak with you about your bride, Hades. Why did you do that? When she saw my reaction, my aunt decided to cease asking me that question. "What just happened, son?"
I said, trying to keep my wolf and I focused on her scent, "I'm not sure." By the way, Aunt, what were you saying?
Was getting married to a person necessary?
I said, "Yes, it was for our family reputation." She seemed to want to ask more questions, but I was already heading to her room to find her. I asked her to fetch her belongings from her room, last I remembered. As I ascended the stairs two at a time, my heart was beating rapidly. I became increasingly concerned as I neared If she were there, I ought to be able to hear her, or at the very least, I ought to be able to smell her much more strongly than before. None of it was taking place.
I quickly slammed open the door and looked around the space.
You could have quietly opened the door. Now that everyone can see your rage and actions, they will understand that our angel is not present. Wolf made an effort to reduce my rage.
It's not a word. NOT even a word.
I called her name, and when I didn't get a response, I said, "Angelisa?" I stormed into the bathroom. I turned to look around and discovered a rope made of bedsheets and drapes that had been flung out the window. I made sure the rope was nearly level with the ground.
The wolf's comprehension and composure vanished instantly, and he soon began to snarl in rage like I did. My fists clenched, and I refrained from pounding the wall.
She ought not to have fled from us. I wasted no time in leaping from the window as soon as he said something irate. When I gave the air a smell, I could tell where our buddy had gone.
"Bad move, angel!" I chuckled before transforming into the large silver wolf and chasing after our mate's scent.
Angelisa’s POV
I married an Alpha who was haughty and ruthless, so I was unable to grieve any more over my situation. I'm curious as to what his issue was.
He suddenly turned to look at me with an expression I couldn't place, but he also gave off the impression that he didn't care about our marriage or anything else related to it.
Why would he, though?
He intended to wed my sister, but he wed me instead.
He told me to look at him and then abruptly grabbed my waist and pressed his lips against mine. The wave of feelings that flooded my heart caught me off guard.
I was baffled by the cause of my newfound feelings for him. I grasped his black suit in an effort to prevent myself from toppling down.
And just as he kissed me before I had a chance to prepare myself, he withdrew from me so abruptly that I was left with the impression that he considered me to be a plague and preferred to avoid me at all costs.
But his eyes told a different story.
He said he wouldn't mark me when he said that. I experienced a tiny pang in my heart, but I was once again unsure of its cause. I guess I was already ready for this. Obviously, he would mark his partner and not me.
"Take everything you need from your room. In 30 minutes, we will be departing for home. Though he once again sounded haughty, I appreciated that he stated "our home." I was now in his house.
My stepmother had promised to give me those pages, but I couldn't find her, so I hurriedly entered the house to retrieve them.
When he addressed me by such a name, I mumbled in confusion, "Luna Angelisa," to the Omega. It took me some time to understand that since I was now married to an Alpha, I was now considered a Luna. "Your mother requested that I give you this," I said.
I took the document she was holding with a nod of my head. "Show up along the lakeside. Make sure you arrive by yourself and without anyone noticing you.
What in the world is she thinking right now?
Just 30 minutes have been provided to me by Mr. Arrogant. How in the world did I manage to meet her at the lake and grab everything in just 30 minutes?'
I felt like something happened to my flesh when the moonlight touched me. I quickly rubbed my hands together and hurried in the direction of the forest, but I abruptly came to a stop when I suddenly noticed white hairs sprouting from my hands.
I halted my stride and once more caressed my hands.
What sort of offensive joke was that?
I attempted to remove those white hairs off my palm that resembled fur, but it hurt!
I had waxing a few days prior, so how could it be possible that those appeared to be sections of my body?
I screamed "Aaahhhh" as I slumped to the ground from a severe stomach ache that spread throughout my entire body. I observed the transition of my nails' color from white and pink to black. Additionally, those white furs began to coat my body more densely than previously.
I questioned myself, "Is it possible that I'm shifting?" but got no response.
I could feel the cracking and realigning of bones.
I wanted to scream and cry out in pain, but I was unable to do so since I had already lost my voice. All I could do was moan in agony. I kept whimpering while keeping my eyes closed until the pain eased.
A few moments later, I heard a happy female voice. "Hello, Please open your eyes.
I followed instructions and discovered no one was nearby. My eyes widened as I noticed that my toes were now furry paws rather than human toes. I turned 360 degrees, but all I could see was my tail!
I overheard laughter. I soon stopped doing stupid things and became aware.
"Well, I'm to blame!" It does not occur frequently. I'm talking about changing from a human to a wolf.
I distinctly heard that voice saying, "Yeah, that's right."
I asked, "Who's here?" but my voice didn't sound human. I felt foolish for posing that query.
"Lisa, I still hear you. because you and I are one. I don't want to make you more perplexed. Short version: I'm Mira, your lycan. After that, I began to see a large wolf with fur that was as white as milk in my head.
‘Lycan?’
You are unaware of the background of wolves, are you? I couldn't help but shake my head in disapproval. "Okay, then! I'll explain, Mate," she exclaimed, abruptly altering the subject of what she had just been saying.
‘Mate? I refer to our mate.
‘Yes! You must be aware of the relationship between Mate and Mate.
‘I do! Not much, but I do know that person is the one the Moon Goddess brought to you in order to adore and cherish you.
‘Perfect. Consider your human form right now. We must meet our match.' At first, the thought of having a partner made me grin, but then reality slammed me like a truck.
I panickedly retorted, "But...but I am already married to someone else who is my sister's mate."
You've got to be joking, My Lycan looked at me in shock.
"Excuse me, but I must go. I object to meeting our match. I know how this mate connection functions, so I don't want to be someone who cheats on someone just because he or she finds their partner.
‘But…’
"Plz, Mira. I begged to leave before he arrived, as I caught a whiff of a wonderful sandalwood and lavender scent approaching.
She said, "Fine!" against her will, and then she started to run. My senses suddenly became ten times more acute, and I could run as quickly as a vampire. As I ran, the wind ruffled across my fur, cheering up my depressed disposition.
This sensation was wonderful.
Mira used a different route to get to my house, and when she told me to, I was transformed back into a human again while still wearing my wedding dress.
She murmured, "Perks of being an Alpha Lycan," in my head.
As I was ascending to my room, I asked her, "What are the other benefits of Alpha Lycan?"
She boasted, "No one can feel my presence until I want them to feel it. I can still smell our mate, so are you sure this is your room, by the way?
'Me too. He can't, in my opinion, come here. I replied, more like I explained to myself, "Only a select few people are permitted to enter my room, and I don't think our mate will try to risk his life by trespassing in our pack without Alpha's permission."
My happiness was short-lived when I spotted Hades sitting on my bed and glaring at me when I finally made it to my room. I sighed with relief that no one had discovered me.
Oh boy!
Mira shrieked in delight, "MATE!"
"Are you certain? I am married to him, and he is the partner of my sister.
Mira suddenly ceased speaking as she pondered what I had just said. I gulped uncomfortably as I noticed him advancing toward me angrily.
This is not a good thing.
