  Damian   I sipped my tea, my mind consumed by thoughts of Selene. Her fragile state, constantly drifting in and out of consciousness, weighed heavily on my conscience. The guilt troubled me, reminding me that it was all my fault.   "Alpha, breakfast is served," the servant announced, breaking my reverie. I nodded, handing her the empty glass, and made my way out.
