"It's been long since you visited that place, what changed?" Adrain threw me a surprise glance when I told him where I was going.
"I can't run forever" I shrugged, casually asking him if he wanted to tag along but he declined respectfully.
I headed to the highest floor and strolled to my destination when I saw an unexpected figure staring with anticipation at the door.
"How did she get here?" I thought observing her every move, she wanted to see what was inside the room.
I questioned her on what she was doing there but her answer was quite shady. To inflict fear in her I made Adrain give her some punishment and I also made a mental note to punish the servant in charge of that particular door for leaving his duty post.
She avoided my gaze all the while she served
