With a thrill of victory jolting through my veins, I strolled into the room I shared with the Alpha, my footsteps echoing with the satisfaction of winning over my ex-best friend, my heart swelling with pride.
The Alpha's eyes met with mine and I could sense a hint of curiosity "I was worried about you, hope she didn't hurt you?" He asked the moment I walked in.
"No, I am fine although she tried. I was ready for her and I had nothing to lose" I smiled, settling on the bed.
"With the way you are smiling, it is very obvious you beat her to her own game" He chuckled, settling beside me.
