I chose to forget about the encounter on the battlefield because no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to get a grasp of it.
"You've been out for three days, I was worried" Emery gripped my hands, her brows creased with a frown.
"Three days is a long time, but thanks to the moon goddess I am finally on my feet" I smiled.
"Meet me in my office now" I heard his raspy voice in my mind as I groaned internally.
I walked in on Adrain who passed me a brief smile before leaving "Seat" His shrill voice resonated while I succumbed to his request.
"I haven't forgotten about your punishment, you know that?" He held my gaze while I flinched from the tone of his baritone voice.
"I promise to obey orders, please spare me this one time" I shut my eyes while pleading.
