Wednesday, July 1 Well, “next time” came, and I was an absolute mess. My day started off okay, but quickly went downhill. I was supposed to be off work, so I was thrilled to find my tea and note waiting outside my front door. I have stopped wondering how Mac always seems to know my schedule. I guess he just has his ways. Today’s note had a silly and rather corny but sweet joke that made me smile. “What did one boat ask the other? Are you up for a little row-mance?” He also drew a lopsided heart around the words. It doesn’t get much sweeter than that. I think I’m really starting to get addicted to his thoughtful gestures.
