Cordelia’s POV
The light gazed through the window as my eyes slowly fluttered open, extending my arms in a stretch I took in my surroundings, grey walls, few decorations, and the smell of his musky cologne lingered in the air, my mind traveled back to last night and a small sigh escaped my lips. Pulling the silk covers off my body, it dawned on my nakedness. Yanking the covers back to cover my petite curvy frame, looking to my right, there he was….Dark curly hair, sharp jawline, plush pink lips, tattoos scattered across his body. His back is what had me staring though...Angel wings that extended down his biceps. I found myself tracing down the outline of the wing on his bicep, resting my head on the pillow I watched his back heave up and down as he slept.
Luciano stirred in his sleep and my eyes fluttered close and pretended to sleep, I could feel his icy eyes watching me, eventually, my eyes softened and opened, meeting his gaze. He looked lost in thought, but once he realized I was there with him, he scooted a little closer and cupped my cheek, his thumb brushing across my bottom lip before he leaned in and kissed me deeply.
My hands flung around his neck and kissed him back, his kisses were always electric and steamy, a minute of his kisses and I’d have a serious problem on my hands, nothing that this mafia leader couldn’t solve though.
He shifted between my legs while I scooted beneath him more, his kisses were soft and slow, one hand traveled down my chest and to my hips while the other took her petite hand in his large one and stretched it out above her head, his kisses slowly increased in pace, each kiss lingered on my skin, a feeling of numbness and goosebumps spread throughout my spine, down my arms and legs.
It’s moments like these, that make you question everything...Why me? Why this man? Can I look past the things he has done and love him? Or do I pretend?
