After getting everyone settled Josey went to her room she lay down on her bed to think. What felt like minutes turned out to be hours she felt a pressence. She looked at her door way and Sam was there. Sam asks "Can I come lay with you I can't sleep I feel the need to be close to you yet i don't understand why?" Josey replies" Of course you can come lay with me and I can try to explain why you feel that way" "you feel that way because we are mates and the universe tries to get the mates together so there is a pull towards your mate it happens with all mates im sorry it's distressing you I promise you im not purposely trying to distress you after all you been through. I wish I could take your pain away." Sam say's " I dont trust easily but I promise to try you make me feel safe. I've never felt safe before." Josey replies "I will always keep you safe my love." Sam said " I have two more questions what are you? And how did you get my father to tell the police everything so we wouldn't have to testify?" Josey said " I am a tribrid. Which is a werewolf,vampire and witch combo. To answer your second question I gave him a compulsion to tell the truth I didn't want you guys to have to testify." Sam didn't know what to say so she just laid in Josey's arms enjoying the feelings she didn't quite understand. Josey didn't want to say anything to ruin the moment and soon sleep took them. As Sam slept she dreamt of leaving the only place she ever felt safe. Josey on the other hand dreamt of making Sam hers and hers alone and marking her for all to see she was taken and all the love they would share.
