Her Abused Mate

Josey woke up terror in her veins. She saw the abuse and felt like it was happening to her but it was a dream that Sam was having but it felt so real. Sam and her sister were locked in a room and beaten daily sometimes he used a belt sometimes he used a whip anything to cause the girls pain. How they survived she didn't know but she thanks the goddess every day for their survival or ahe would have never had the chance to meet her mate. It was horrible meeting under the circumstances that they met under but was still grateful she had a mate not every supernatural was that lucky and to find her within a year of turning is remarkable. Josey sat at the edge of the bed trying to rid herself of the lasting effects of the nightmare she wanted to help her mate but didn't know how she would have to talk to Xavier and Jen. In the morning she found them at the table eating and told them what had happened and if they had any ideas on how to help Sam so they both could get some much needed rest. They told her either you being close to her will help with the nightmares or a shared dream experience. Since she couldn't be close to her mate right now she would have to try the second and hope Sam wouldn't be too upset.
