She wasn't even sure if she was in the right place. "What am I doing here?" she muttered to herself as she pulled out her phone to double check the address. The text she had received told her to wait by Anerley Station exit, 10am, look for the red car. She looked at the station information board and then at her watch. "It's 5 past. I'm going home." she said on a harsh breath. Securing her hand bag on her shoulder, she started to walk away from the station. "Debbie!" her name boomed across the road in that tone she loved. That voice. That man. He's here. "Debbie!" he called again and beeped the car horn. She rolled her eyes and all but ran to the passenger side and got in. "You're late Matt." Matt winked and gave her a sly smile, "Five minutes babe. Traffic through Crystal Palace is a nightmare right now. I'm sorry, forgive me?" He rubbed her hand and she felt her body react immediately at his touch. 'Am I wet right now? Seriously? It's that easy?' She thought to herself as she tried hard to keep a straight face. "Drive," she told him, "now, before I change my mind." "Yes baby girl." Matt grinned and pulled off, cutting up the 197 bus in the process. After a few minutes of ear hurting music, Debbie turned the radio down, "Whose car is this?" "Rental," Matt replied, "mine is out of service right now. Clutch is fucked." "Where are we going anyway?" Debbie was getting impatient but she wasn't sure if it was with Matt or herself. Everytime they got together, he promised romance, quality time, fun. But in reality, it was always just a quick bang and a mile of excuses for cutting the day short until the next "Hey, how you doing?" text. "There's a nice café in Brixton," he replied, "I thought we could get some breakfast before we hang out. You smoking today?" He raised an eyebrow suggestively and threw in another wink for good measure. "Of course I am," Debbie replied, "can I smoke in the car?" he nodded and she pulled a joint out of her purse, lit it and took a long pull. She let her window down and blew the smoke out of it. "What's the deal with breakfast anyway? I didn't think you had that kind of time..." "Come on Debs, don't start with all that." Matt sighed and his face was set heavy. "I told you I was sorry about the last time. Its a busy time, summer. I've got orders and deliveries left, right and centre. Two weddings on the same day, just last week I had 3 funerals..." "I get it Matt," she cut in, pulling on her joint again and letting the smoke out of her nostrils, "you're busy I know. I'm not knocking that. But why make arrangements with me at all if you don't have time to actually spend time with me? It makes me feel used. I know it's just s*x to you but..." "What?!" Matt turned to look at her so fast the car swerved. "Just s*x?" he frowned, "Says who? I care about you. You don't know that yet? Things will be better when I'm not working so much, right now I just have to get through this patch." Debbie sat looking out the window. They've had this conversation a thousand times already. He's a florist, a damn good one. That's how they met. He made the arrangements for her cousins wedding and as chief bridesmaid, it was her job to collect them. She walked into his store and after 30 minutes, he had her number and she had officially lost her damn mind. That was two years ago. Two whole years. They'd meet up, smoke, have s*x and then he'd have somewhere he needed to be or someone he had to go see. "Look, I'm sorry if I've made you feel bad," he exhaled, "I really do care about you. I think about you all the time, I always miss you. I wanna make it up to you. I've got a whole day planned out for us. That's why I wanted to meet so early. Please baby, don't be upset with me." That's it. That's always it. That's all he has to say, "Okay," Debbie smiled, like she always did, "but this is it." She was so sick of saying that. Technically, there was nothing wrong with this arrangement of theirs. They were both single, they weren't in an exclusive relationship. They were just kind of friends with sort of benefits. Mostly benefits for him but, the s*x was amazing and every time they were together, she felt something stronger for him. She definitely missed him all the time and it did make her happy to hear that he missed her too. Finally he parked up outside the café and they went in and sat down. They ordered breakfast and coffee and once the waitress was out of the way, Matt leaned forward and held one of her hands across the table. "I actually wanted to talk to you about something today," he smiled his gorgeous smile at her and she squeezed her thighs closed, willing her body to behave, "I wondered if you wanted to try something out with me." Debbie wasn't sure if she was worried or just a little high. "You know we have the most amazing s*x," Matt continued, "I thought we could spice things up a little bit." Debbie was surprised at the request, they were pretty kinky already. What could he possibly want to add to the list of things they already do? Was it so kinky he had to warm her up with breakfast first? "What's on your mind Matt?" she asked reluctantly. "I found a girl," his eyes lit up as he spoke, "she's beautiful and she wants to get involved. She's ready to meet with us today and..." "I'm sorry, what?" Debbie laughed, "found a girl? For what? Get involved with what? Meet with us today for what?" "A threesome." he replied, as though she was silly to even ask. Debbie sat silent as the waitress returned with her coffee and left again in a haste, as though she could sense the tension. "I must be sky high because I'm sure you just asked me to have a threesome with some random girl..." she sipped her coffee and waited for the weed to stop f*****g with her brain. "She's not some random girl," Matt reached across with his other hand and caressed her palms gently, "I met her a few weeks ago and she's great." The waitress returned again with two plates of food. She set them down and looked at Debbie, almost with sympathy before leaving as fast as she could. "A few weeks ago?" Debbie frowned, "so you've got to know her pretty well? Did you think to talk to me about it first? I don't wanna have a threesome."
