IX. Her Bad English Everything is so beautiful around the new household, and there is so much more time for Rosa to simply sit in Laureano’s recliner and think about her good fortune that, while Max and Mondo go about fixing the house, she can also think about fixing up herself, things like her bad English. No more Esmeralda coming around all the time, and she can’t really just sit and talk to Mrs. Rose while she’s supposed to be working. Will the classes in the library take her back?
