The Escapade of Althea

Chapter 11

Third Person's POV 

Cascade, the siren, smirk after she heard what Althea said. She looks at her like she's a joke like her teammates are but definitely aware of her different aura. "There's something off about you, what is it?"   

Althea smirk and said, "I'm the one who will bring you down." 

Then she runs towards her and cast a magic fire burst to her. And again it didn't go through the siren's defense. She stops running then focus on what the siren is about to do, the siren dashes towards her with her magic water blade and attacks her with that. She defends herself and then shrugs the blade and cast fire magic continuously.  

While the siren is laughing because of her petty attacks, Althea is focusing her other hand to cast a magic powerful fire explosion.  "You will not defeat me with these petty attacks, it's not even scratching my defense." The siren said arrogantly. 

But Althea just smirk and said,  "We'll see about that." And then close her eyes and cast "Fire Magic Explosion!"  

 The two girls on the side are praying and hoping that her spells will work this time or at least wreck the defense of Cascade. They are focused on watching Althea fighting that they didn't notice Bryan is starting to wake up. 

"Do you think you will ever defeat me?" The siren said, but Althea is just smirking to her and that annoys the siren. She's going to attack her but she becomes shocked instead. Her magic defense starts to c***k up and crash instantly.

"Yey!" The two cheered to the side. Chloe decided to join again since Althea is doing her best.

"Hailey, heal me first. I'll go help Althea, I can't have her all the fun." She said looking at Althea with a big smile on her face. Hailey nodded and do as she says.

While Hailey is healing her, the siren violently attacks Althea. But Althea didn't falter like she's expecting that the siren will do this. She smirks at her and that made the siren angrier with her. 

"You think you're a big shot because you destroy my defense? Huh, don't be so full of yourself." The siren other hand is casting another water blade to give her a surprise attack. But the moment she did that, Chloe dashes towards them and counter the second blade."Thanks" Althea whisper to her, then the two of them step back and nodded to each other. Chloe dashes towards the siren and starts to attacks her. While Althea is targeting the siren with her Fire Ball. But the siren is so good at fighting and almost reading their moves cause she can dodge the Fire Ball while crossing swords with Chloe. 

Seeing this, Hailey decides to attack too. She debuffs the siren by Slow and that pisses the siren off. She let one fireball to hit her so she can attack Hailey by her Water Arrow Blade. And that hit Hailey in her stomach, and the moment it hit her she stumbles down beside the two. 

"Don't piss me off." The siren said. 

"Hailey!" Shouts the two of them, Althea rushes towards where she is.

"Chloe, fight her. I will quickly heal her." She said, Chloe glare at the siren while she's laughing. Althea approaches her, and do a quick heal spell. Unlike Hailey's spell, her spell is for just light wounds only but she did it anyway. 

"Come on, don't you dare die on us, Hailey. We need you!" Althea shouted to her and she quickly coughs some blood and looks at Althea weakly. She sighs and smiles at Hailey. 

"Can you still heal yourself? Just enough to make you alive until we defeat that?" She nodded and put her palm around her stomach and heal herself. 

Just when Althea looks at the two whose fighting, her eyes grew bigger, and sees Chloe just stab by the siren's blade. She quickly rushes to her side to catch her falling. She enhances her speed to catch her and carry her to the side where the rest are. 

"End this now, Althea," Chloe said then mouthed sorry to her. Althea feels her rage goes up but this time she will not let her emotion control her. She walks towards where the siren is and attacks her with Fire Explosion. The whole room burns but her friends aren't burning and to their dismay, the siren is fine too. She uses her Water magic to extinguish the fire that aims to her. 

"Let's fight seriously here now," Althea said with no emotion to the siren which brings the siren chills. And as soon as she feels that, she's trembling but happy at the same time. 

'This is the first time I felt this to an enemy.' She thinks to herself. She quickly dashes towards Althea and tried to cut her. But she dodges all of her attacks, and that makes the siren happy more and excited to kill her. 

"Ha Ha Ha Ha" The siren shouting while she's attacking her, but Althea just keep on dodging her attacks. She's wounded but it's all just a scratch. "Don't worry, I will make sure that I will kill you first before I t*****e your friends." 

"Don't you dare," Althea said then looks at her friends whose lying to one side. And at that moment she regretted that she look at them because the siren took it to her advantage to cut her one right arm. She looks at her arms that drop to the floor and to the ring her parents gave to her. The siren laughs and continues to mock her. 

"AHHH!" She shouted and she glares at the siren, she picks up her ring and throws it to her friends. Hailey catches it weakly and uses all her strength to kick Bryan and plead them to wake up. She then looks at Althea, who is now fighting the siren with her only one hand and bleeding a lot. 

"Do you think you can keep up with one arm and with all the blood you're losing?" The siren teasingly said to her. "How you will protect your friends right now? If you can't even protect yourself?" 

She slowly walks towards where the rest is, Hailey on the other hand is now panicking because she knows that the siren will kill them now. The siren approaches Hailey and gives her a smile that makes her whole body trembles in fear. She lifts her Water Blade up but all of a sudden she heard Althea slowly walks towards her. 

"Don't you dare," Althea said with no emotion yet is sounded so firm. The room filled with her dangerous and powerful aura that no one ever felt before. The siren, Cascade, looks back trembling to her. Fear on her face shows when she sees Althea with her two arms, not even wounded. Even Hailey is shocked by what is happening. And at that moment, Bryan woke up, he saw Althea rejuvenating and the rest of the team is badly wounded on his side.  

And all of a sudden, Althea jumps to the siren to her back and she holds her head and cast a "Hell's Fire Explosion" and that made the siren blows up. All her blood spill everywhere, even to the rest of her team and her. 

She looks at them and sees Hailey trembling in fear, she approaches her and said, 

"It's alright now, don't be scared." She hugs her tight then see Bryan looking at her with a knitted eyebrow. And at that moment too, Max wake up. 

"What happened?" Max asked, and all of them except Chloe looks at him. Althea stands up but the moment she did, she stumbles down and lost consciousness. 

"ALTHEA!"
