1018 Words

CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE It had taken a week of solid cleaning and sorting out to get the shop back to the way it was before the fire. Still, there had been no clues as to whom was responsible, but no one was willing to give up. He’d even driven Aggie and Coco to a couple of their suppliers to pick up some stock to save time. But when the time had come to say goodbye, Aggie had found it heart-wrenching. She knew it would happen. She’d known she’d fall for him and then it would be over. A holiday fling. It’s what it had been for him. But she hadn’t been on holiday. But he’d gone and she had to get back to her life the way it was before.
