CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN “What’s happened Coco? I don’t think I’ve ever seen you like this before. Who was that guy? Why didn’t you tell me you knew him?” Aggie soon realised she was babbling so she stopped and looked at her friend who was already soaked to the skin. Both stood, with the rain pouring down, shivering. Luckily, Aggie soon caught sight of a taxi and so she flagged it down and the girls climbed inside. After Aggie had given the driver her address, she pulled Coco toward her and hugged her, saying nothing during the short drive home. Coco was very quiet other than the occasional sob that came out of her mouth. Once they’d arrived, Aggie paid the driver and the two rushed indoors, careful not to drip too much water on the shop floor as they rushed up the stairs to the apartment
