Chapter 6

506 Words
Sandra lunged at me but I rolled before she could make contact. She turned and threw her knife at my head. I felt it graze my cheek as I turned my head. She was clearly aiming to kill me but I didn't understand why. She grabbed another knife and lunged at me again, I swung my fist and made hit her across the jaw. Kyle tried to leap after her but she was too fast for him. I grabbed two of my knives and got to my feet. She launched her knife at my stomach as I threw mine to her feet.     I spun in time to miss the blow but she quickly got to her feet and threw a punch at me. I couldn't change my momentum and she caught me in the stomach. I fell to the ground gasping for breath but before she could attack me again Kyle tackled her down.     "ENOUGH!" he screamed. "Sandra, what is wrong with you?"     "She killed my family! She's the reason I was in the Order!" she struggled against Kyle then finally calmed when she realized she wasn't able to get him off.     "What?" he asked. He turned to look at me as if looking for answers.     "Sandra I don't know what your talking about." I said.    Kyle slowly got off of her but held onto her arm so she couldn't attack me again. She sat up and continued with sheer hatred in her eyes. "Of course you don't remember. Your were too young, I was too young! My family was only traveling through your lands but your pathetic, spoiled ass decided you wanted to run outside of your precious castle, where you ran into us. You gave me your gold bracelet and hours later when your guards found you they arrested us, killing my parents for 'k********g' you. All while you said nothing!     "I thought I got my revenge on you by helping to burn your castle. I thought it was you screaming but I guess it was your mother. Anyway that night the Order found me with witches and assumed I was one and brought me to that god forsaken place. I will get my revenge Austin, I promise you."     Sandra broke from Kyle's grasp and ran back into the woods. We shared a glance knowing she went back to tell the Order we ran. Sandra wanted her memories back but now it seemed like she wanted revenge more than anything. Now we were in danger. Our time had run out and we had to find our allies. Problem being we still couldn't remember who they were.     "Kyle," I paused, unsure if I wanted to continue, "I think we need to find the trainee. She might be an ally."     He looked at me uncertainty in his eyes. It was too late to go back and I knew that he knew that too. He took one last look at where Sandra had run and nodded at me.
