Chapter 2

******** Olivia ******** Liam was drying off when I walked into the bathroom. I smiled at him, somewhat proud of myself, sneaking in a little self pleasure. I still felt kind of shaky, but I had to play it cool. I had never peed in front of him but I decided now or never. If I’m marrying this man I can pee in front of him. He didn’t even blink, acted like it was the most normal thing in the world. He brushed his teeth casually. I smiled softly to myself. This felt normal, like married life.  “I need to go to the bank today.” he said casually as he rinsed off his tooth brush.  “K.” I said. I flushed the toilet and followed suit brushing my teeth.  “Want to go for breakfast?” He called from the closet.  “Sure.” I called back. Smiling. I loved this day to day banter. It felt so healthy, so happy. I felt almost whole again. I grabbed some jeans and a shirt, tossing them on and following him out to my car. We had a quick breakfast before he swung into the parking lot of his bank.  I was going to stay in the car. He started getting out and when I didn’t follow he stopped.  “You coming?” He asked. I was confused. Why would he want me to come with him?  “Huh?” I asked.  “Common, I’m applying for a bigger mortgage.” He said.  “Oh, you want me to come?” I asked him. He nodded. So I followed. He spoke to a lady up front who took us into a back office. We sat alone waiting for someone to join us.  “I didn’t need to be here.” I said, he smiled.  “Sure you do, it’s your house too and I want you on the paperwork.” He said.  “You do?” I asked him. He laughed at me.  “Olivia, we’re getting married. Of course I do.” He said. Oh. I forgot. The wedding.  “I forgot we were getting married.” I said softly. He took my hand and kissed it.  “I know, but I let you because you needed to heal.” He said. I smiled. I owed it to him to start coming up with a plan. A lady in a suit came in at that point.  “Mr. Wilson.” She said shaking his hand. She turned to me.  “Olivia.” I said giving her my hand as well. She smiled as she sat down.  “So. I see your application, but can you just tell me what’s going on here so that I know what to put in the computer?” She asked. He nodded.  “Yes, we sure can. We are trading houses with Olivia’s father. It’s worth quite a bit more than my house is.” He said. She nodded.  “I see, so the appraisal for his house came in at seven hundred and eighty nine thousand. Your’s came in at five hundred and twenty five thousand.” She said. Liam whistled.  “Holy, that’s a jump, property prices have gone up.” He said. She nodded.  “Yes, but umm. Tim, yes Tim. He sent in his asking price. Which is quite common when kids are buying from their parents. So he said he would like six hundred thousand for his home. So with the trade you’ll only need to increase your mortgage by seventy five thousand.” She said.  “That’s too low.” Liam said. I grabbed his arm.  “Liam, I know you don’t want to take money from him, but trust me. He and I have had these conversations before he’s going to disagree.” I said. He smiled.  “Let me step out for a minute and call him.” He said standing up. He stepped out into the hall.  “I see this a lot.” The banker said. I smiled at her.  “Male ego’s?” I asked. She laughed.  “Well honestly, yes that would be a good definition.” She said. I smiled at her.  “They’ll never agree,” I said. She smiled.  “I know, that’s why I already put in the pre-approval.” She said laughing. I laughed with her. When he came back in he looked sombre.  “Guess we are going for the extra seventy five thousand dollars.” He said. I winked at the banker.  “Sounds good.” She said, typing into her computer. “This will be a few minutes. Let me check into your banking profile and see what we can do to make your money work better for you.” She said. She scrolled through a few pages.  “Ok, well. You’re doing pretty good. I see you have direct deposit once a month from the marine corps for seventy five hundred and fifty dollars. You take ten percent of that and put it into savings which is great.” She said. Then she scrolled a little more. I had no idea how much Liam had made before. We had never spoken about money at all.   “When you were on active duty did you put your whole paycheck away?” She asked him.  “Pretty much, there was enough to pay my bills and the rest went to savings.” He answered.  “Wow, you’ve got quite the savings.” She said. He smiled.  “Nothing to spend it on when you’re living in a tent in the desert.” He answered. She smiled at him.  “Ok, do you want to use any of your savings down on the new mortgage?” She asked.  “Well maybe, I’d like to keep the bill down if I can.” He said. She nodded.  “Ok, so you owe just over three hundred and fifty, we are adding seventy five. Your mortgage will be four hundred and twenty five thousand. You’ve just had an approval come in with an interest rate of three percent. If you don’t put anything down your payment will be nineteen hundred a month. How much do you think you could put down?” She asked. I sat quietly keeping my mouth shut. I didn’t feel this was my place.  “How’s ten percent?” He asked. She did some typing.  “That would bring your payment to just over seventeen hundred.” She said.  “Yea let’s do that.” he said, she did some more typing.  “Perfect, and is Olivia going to be on the deed?” She asked. He nodded. She typed some more.  “Great, so this is approved let me print everything. Tim will have to come in and sign transfer papers, you’ll have to transfer your home to him. There will be lawyers fees for that. You can wait here, or if you’d like you can come by tomorrow.” She said.  “I’ve got drills tomorrow but how’s friday?” He asked her. She checked her schedule.  “Yup, I’ve got availability at ten.” She said. They set the appointment and we headed out to the parking lot.  “They sure don’t pay you enough to get shot at.” I said to him. He smiled.  “No, they don’t but that’s ok. I’m done getting shot at. Now I get a bonus whenever I do drills.” He said.  “Oh?” I asked. He nodded.  “Yea, I took the job because I get an extra two hundred dollars everytime I get up at four am to drill the boys.” He said. I smiled.  “Liam, maybe I should get a job.” I said, I hadn’t ever thought of it since Tim had told me no. But if Liam was working so hard, maybe I could too. But he shook his head. “No, I don’t want you too. School starts soon, we won’t get to spend enough time together as it is. I’d rather you focus on your education.” He said. I nodded. Fair enough, he was right. If I did get a job it would cut into our time together. He started driving towards home. “Liam, will you teach me to shoot?” I asked him. He looked over at me.  “Really?” He asked. I nodded. I hadn’t ever even touched a gun, but he enjoyed doing it. Maybe it was something we could do together.  “Of course I can baby.” He said. When we got home he took me into the closet where the gun cabinet was hidden in the wall. He opened it.  “Holy crap.” I said. There were so many in there, big ones, small ones. Some hanging on the door, some hiding in the back.  “Yea, I have a few.” He said. He dug around for a minute and pulled a small one out of the back.  “This is my .22. My grandpa gave it to me when I was a little boy.” He handed it to me. I was a little nervous. But I knew he’d help me through this.  “OK, never put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot the gun ok?” He said, making sure I understood rule number one. I nodded.  I was a little nervous with it in my hands. Even though I knew it was a small rifle I knew it could kill.  “Let’s do some stuff at home and get you used to it before we go to the range.” He said.  “K.” I said. He gave me a run down of the parts of the gun. Barrel, stock, chamber, sights, muzzle…. It kept going. Never point it at anyone, never shoot unless you're sure, always make sure your gun is empty, even if you think it’s empty check and check again.  “K” I kept saying trying to remember it all. He went back into the closet and pulled out another gun and two cases. Then he clipped locks onto the triggers.  “What are those?” I asked him.  “Trigger locks. Makes them safer to transport.” He said. Then he slid them into the cases and locked them. We drove out into the desert to a military range.  “Can I go here?” I asked. He nodded,  “Yup, you can. This is just for recreation.” He said. He gave me a run down on range protocols.  “Only ever point down range, you can only load ten rounds into your gun at a time.” He said. He placed some goggles over my eyes.  “You have to wear these.” He said.  “Pay attention to the range officer, he’s the boss. If there is a green flag up means you can go onto the range and put up or take down targets. Red means it’s an active range and stay out.” He said. I nodded. He set my gun case on the table and set his on the one in the next booth. He put ear muffs over my ears. Then unlocked my case and took the trigger lock off. There were two other people on the range setting up targets. He set my gun down on the table, muzzle facing down the range. Then he went onto the range and set up targets. When he got back he raised his hand to the range officer who raised the red flag and took down the green. Someone down the range fired. I jumped, shocked at the sound even through my ear protection. I laughed at myself. He showed me how to load the shells into the chamber. I started with two.  “Ok, when you’re ready take aim at one of your targets and squeeze the trigger.” He said. I aimed, but I didn’t pull the trigger. I looked at the target for a minute then I looked at Liam.  “Go ahead love.” He said. I took aim again, then I pulled the trigger. It gave a soft pop.  “That didn’t feel like much.” I said, he smiled.  “No it wouldn’t, that’s a small rifle. I’ve got lots, you can shoot bigger ones another day.” He said. I smiled and fired off my last shell. The people around me had been shooting lots. The green flag went up. I had missed so the targets didn’t need changed. He showed me how to load ten shells into my magazines. When the red flag went back up I fired off ten shots. Skimming the edge of my target a few times. He smiled. I loaded my magazine again myself and fired off ten more. Getting a little closer to the center.  “This is fun!” I said. I was enjoying it, it was a challenge. Getting the marks closer and closer to the center. He pulled out four more magazines and set them down on my table.  “Are you going to shoot yours?” I asked. He nodded. When the green flag went up I loaded all of my magazines. I waited impatiently for the red flag, then I fired off all fifty shells. Hitting the black on my target with some of them. I looked over at Liam’s target, he had annihilated it. One huge hole right through the middle. When the green flag went up I reloaded and got ready to shoot again. After what didn’t seem like long enough I noticed him packing up his gun. I followed suit. Putting my magazines into the case, then trying to figure out how to put the trigger lock back on. He came over and helped me to finish putting it away. I packed my own case out. His arm over my shoulder.  “That was fun.” I said smiling at him. He nodded.  “Yea I enjoy it.” He said. When we got to the car we put the guns in the trunk. My adrenaline was rushing through my body. The roof was up on my car.  “Liam.” I said, as we left the busy parking lot.  “Yes love?” He asked.  “You need to find somewhere quiet for us to park for a few minutes.” I said. He looked over at me. “Why?” He asked. I smiled as sexily as I could. “Because, I have endorphins running through my body and I want you to f**k me.” I said. He looked over at me stunned. But I noticed our speed increase. He pulled off onto a back road.  “Come here.” He growled when he stopped. His hands running through my hair. I unbuckled and met his hungry lips with mine. It had been almost a month. It didn’t seem like it had been that long, but I just hadn’t wanted this.  “Do you have a condom?” I cried out pulling back. He reached into his wallet and pulled one out. I smiled. He cranked his seat back and I climbed over the gear stick onto his knee. I was wearing a jean skirt. He reached under the fabric and ripped my panties from me. I giggled.  “What’s the hurry?” I asked.  “I have needed you for weeks.” He said, sliding a finger deep into me. I moaned out.  “Ah.” I cried as he thrust in and out of me. I struggled, trying to undo his pants. Finally freeing him. I watched as he rolled the condom onto his length. Holy crap, we’re going to have s*x on a back road. I thought to myself. It’s so sexy. I felt him shift beneath me as he urged himself closer to his goal. I smiled. He slid himself into me in one swift thrust.  “Oh god.” I cried. I retaliated by grinding my hips down onto his staff. His hands moved to my hips, encouraging me to keep moving. He hissed through his teeth. We started to move together as one. His manhood thrusting in and out of me in time with my hips grinding onto him. He feels so good.  “Oh yes!” I cry. His hips are bucking into me, over and over. I lift myself up and down, rising and falling on his rod. I come quickly.  “Ah, god yes! Liam!” I cry. My orgasm ripping through my body, leaving me quivering and weak. He’s not done yet. So I decide to try something dirty.  “I played with myself while you were in the shower.” I said. Smiling at him. What the hell am I saying? I wondered. But he caught my eyes. This was sensual.  “I slid my finger deep into myself.” I moaned. He smiled, a sexy sultry smile.  “Oh?” He said. Urging me to keep going.  “I was so tight.” I said.  “And?” He asked.  “Wet, so wet.” I said. Grinding down on him. He came. Grunting as he thrust himself deep into me. He stopped moving. I laid myself down on him. His throbbing member is still in me.  “I love you.” I said into his ear. He pulled my face to his. Kissing me softly.  “I love you more.” He said. I eased off of him. We situated ourselves and he headed us back in the direction of home.
