The Royal seal on the envelope on my desk in front of me has both Carter and Brody watching me silently from across the room in my office. The Royal Guard delivered it this morning with word that it was sent directly from King Edward himself.
"Maybe it's a summons? Did your dad forget to invite the Royal family to your Alpha ceremony? Do they know you found your mate? Are you going to tell them about Elena's situation?"
The series of questions from Carter has my head spinning as I push from the desk and walk over to the mini bar to poor myself a drink.
