"I've been waiting for you all day," Alden said, startling me as I entered their residence.
"I didn't know that, I thought you said we can have a day off today" I reminded.
"Yes I know it's just that I wanted you to help me with something" he added.
"Thank you for looking after Arielle yesterday, I really appreciate it. I knew that you would help her calm down" he said and I feigned a smile.
"I'll always be here to help, remember this family is like my own family"
My eyes roamed around trying to get a glimpse of Arielle but sadly I couldn't see her.
