Birdsong wakes me from the most restful sleep I've had here so far. Three days have passed and things are better. I have stored away my anger and weariness when it comes to Elijah. I cannot blame him for the actions of his father, just as I don't want to be punished for what is considered my parents' crime. The kissing we have engaged in... my God! It's like we cannot manage to do anything else whenever we are in each other's company. But I'm not complaining. It makes being here so much more fun and exciting.
