Back when Dawn was young, he clearly remembered his father telling him different kinds of horror stories to either scare him or make fun of him because of his hilarious reactions. Now, as the four of them shouted in the top of their lungs not minding the neighbors nor if there were people around, they looked like a bunch of screaming children afraid because there might be monsters lurking around.
Dawn was the one who was the most afraid. The reason was simple: He travel back in time. What had happened to him clearly indicates that stories inside the books are possible in real life. He was so scared he almost cry his soul out.
If Ayase and the rest of their group would be able to see their reactions, all the four of them knew that they would suffer a never ending mocking and teasing from Keil, Ayase and Aiden.
Roen who shouted because he was swept by the flow of his friends was the first one to recovered and glanced where the sound came from. Roen blinked several times confirming of what he was seeing. In his eyes, a four paws with fur reflected later on a black cat came to view.
What?!
Roen was dumbfounded and slowly looked at his friends who stopped shouting. All the three of them were also looking to where Roen’s eyes preciously landed. At the same time, as they realized where the source of sound came from, Sejin’s face turned red. River rubbed the back of his neck as if he was ashamed while Dawn right palm was on top of his chest where his heart is as he mumbled thank God.
Roen who was watching his friends and brother curled his lips up sooner, his mouth opened as he can’t hold his laughter anymore. We all look so ridiculous! We’re actually afraid of cats!
Sejin, Dawn and River rendered speechless as they saw Roen turning pink because of laughter and few seconds passed, all of them laugh their hearts out thinking how funny and ridiculous they were.
Their laughter echoed through the night with the Dark sky and shimmering stars as witness to their youth and happiness.

Six days had passed.
Dawn calculated the days on his fingers and frowned as he drill his gaze on the black board with different words and formula. Mr. Anderson was now teaching the class. However, Dawn’s thoughts are all over the place.
He sighed as he pursed his lips. Yes, Six days had already passed but nothing had happened. The time flow like usual. Dawn was still staying at Sejin’s and Roen’s house. Over the weekend, they also visited River’s work place a few times and hangout there eating snacks and drinking some soda and root beers.
Dawn let the time flew thinking he can find clues just like his first day. In his first day he found River’s finacial problem and Sejin’s problem with his family. He was expecting more to happened but now, six days had passed but the time flew silently and peacefully like he was living at the same time like everyone else.
Dawn first ignored it. He thought some major events will Happen that might require him to change the outcomes however, as time passed, the hand on the clock he own was only an hour away to completing its full rotation.
The full rotation of the clock means that the seven days Lau and Christine gave him is up and he would soon enter the white room called room of space before everything reverts back to normal. Dawn did not like how his plans were not smooth sailing. He was getting anxious.
In those six days also, he did not find any of his mom’s traces or whereabouts. So, in those six days, he spent it with his friends without having the key to know what are their problems or what had lead them on commiting suicide.
Dawn did not like it at all.
Feeling exhausted as he felt his shoulders were heavy he closed his eyes. His mind was getting louder and louder and later on, Dawn’s mind was occupied with words such us;
You’re still pathetic.
You’re just going to waste this chance, you can’t even do anything right but just enjoy this.
What are you doing? Playing friends?
Such a loser, you can’t do this at all, just give up.
These thoughts were affecting his heart and later on his mood. Dawn felt like his energy was leaving him and all he wanted to do was sleep twenty four hours and from time to time he can’t help but agree with the voices saying that he really can’t do it.
But, every day, whenever he saw his friends smile and continued their days like nothing had happened, he felt getting angry to himself. Dawn knew he was making excuses again not to do anything for he was finding his travel difficult or impossible.
He wanted to crush his hope before it could really crush him in reality.
For that, he felt more and more pathetic. He knew he was not ready to do this at all however, he was already here and he can’t do anything about it.
A reset will happened later. If I am going to the room of space for some hours might as well jolt down and asses what happened over the six days. I can’t give up! I should not give up if I wanted them to be with me in the future.
Dawn consoled himself. He then pushed aside his thoughts and open his eyes. His pupils contradicted as he saw Mr. Anderson was looking at him for a few seconds before withdrawing his gaze and started to teach formulas again.
Dawn heaved a sigh of relief. He took out the watch on his pockets. He knew that when midnight strikes, he would later on change environment.

As Dawn readied himself to be transported in the room of space, he first heart a loud gong before he heart s cogs like sound. It sounded to him like there was cogs being turned and in a blink of an eye, he was in the room of space once again.
The white room almost blinded him because everything was covered in white and black colors. It was so monochrome that it was affecting his mood. However, he did not mind this at all. Dawn knew that he can just overlook these things for these were not his goal.
Standing with his two feet, he walked towards the table and sat on the chair. He then grabbed a piece of paper as he wrote what he had observed back in his first time line.
2010, March
Emo life of Roen
River’s struggle financially.
Sejin’s being not good with their parents
Father bringing home his girl friend.
Sleeping over at Roen and Sejin’s house
Trying to find clues of my mother
Dawn stared at the words he wrote for a minute as he tried to remember everything that had happened on the last seven days. Nothing had happened in particular. It was smooth sailing that he felt so frustrated. Nothing happened. Nothing special had happened.
He first thought that there might be a pause in time where he needed to act quickly to change the outcome because it was like that in the fantasy and time travel books he had read but none of those things had happened. Instead, he felt a normal high school student going puberty.
As he think of these things, he was later on getting anxious and confused enough. He wanted to ask Lau and Christine but they are not here at the moment so, he could just helplessly stared at the paper waiting for the reset of time to stop and bring him back to the first timeline when he arrived.
However, after the time had reset, Dawn who was expecting to see the interior of his classroom as well as his friends was shocked because he was not back at his first time line.
He blinked as he then stared at his utensils. He was not back inside their classroom but when he was eating with Roen and Sejin!
