Chapter 14 Alpha's Warning
"Irene, that's enough, stop." Alec could no longer bear it. He rushed forward and grabbed her hand, draping his jacket over her shoulders. His voice was low and urgent, laced with concern and anger.
Irene's eyes were blurred with rage, her body swaying slightly, yet she stubbornly pressed on. Alec tightened his grip on her wrist and said softly, "Irene, don't let them hurt you any longer. Just stop."
