"You're late." Two words feom Hamish made Kiefer felt like he was in big trouble. "I-I was uh... A-Adam drove me back home," Kiefer's stutter made Hamish a bit suspicious, but he doesn't give a flying f**k. Yet it gave Kiefer a small hope that he does care about it. "Mmm, I see." Hamish continued reading a magazine and Kiefer went up to his room. Disappointed. "Gosh," Kiefer whispered to himself as he jumped into the bed, feeling the coldness of the sheets against his warm skin. "Why weren't you there to bring him home?" Hamish scolded the driver, "I'm so sorry Young Master, I went back to the mansion and fell asleep as I was waiting for the time to pass by," The driver explained as he was scared to lose the job. The pay was pretty good. Hamish could imagine the time Kiefer could've had with Adam. That dip s**t is a f*****g ball of rainbows and cupcakes. Hamish dobths that Kiefer was only drove back home by Adam. But why does he give a damn about it? Why does he feel like he had to know? "f**k you Adam and your stupid cat." Hamish murmured to himself as he continued reading the magazine. Kiefer hasn't gone down yet. Hamish decided to go up to Kiefer's room. Hamish didn't knock on the door so he just opened the door and saw Kiefer on his desk. He seemed to be enthusiastic with whah he was doing on that desk. Hamish wanted to know. He cleared his throat and Kiefer glanced back to him with a big smile on his face. "What's there to smile about? This is so f*****g annoying." Hamish thought to himself. Hamish approached the desk and saw a beautiful watercolor painting. It was a lake. Burnham Lake. The way that the colors are blended and layered made the painting look even more capturing. Hamish placed the painting back on the table, "are you not going to eat? It's 11:45." "Oh I'm not hungry at all." Hamish turned around and left the room. He slammed the door behind him "I knew it." Hamish whispered. "Kiefer must've had dinner with Adam." Was his thought. And it was right. Hamish went downstairs to have breakfast and go to work but to jis surprise, Kiefer is sitting on the dinning table, waiting for him. It was 6:00 am and his schedule to school was 8:30. "Good morning" Kiefer greeted him and Hamish simply nodded "You're up early today, why?" "To have breakfast with you of course!" Kiefer started digging in to the food and Hamish simply ignored it. Hamish was ready for work and Kiefer, well... He already went for the library at 7:00 in the f*****g morning. Kiefer was reading something. Not a book about English or s**t, but a book about how to make connection with people. And he learned something. And he was going for a bit of shopping tonight. It was lunch time with Maya and Josh and Kiefer can't wait for the night to come. "Hey Kiefer, I have planned the double date and I'm sure you'll like it!" "Really??!!" "Yes!!" Maya and Kiefer squealing like highschool girls talking abot their crush. "I'll text it to you later!" Maya told him with excitement. She was excited to see the fruit of her and Josh's effort of bringing Kiefer on a club. Kiefer is getting more and more excited about a lot of things. He went to the teahouse with the most amazing mood he has ever had for the last three months even before he met Hamish. He went to the counter and waited for customers to come around. There are a bit less customers today. The teahouse was nearly empty. But somehow, someone came in to the teahouse. It was Adam. "You're here again, how nice. I had so much fun last night," Kiefer said with a huge smile, a smile thay faded away as soon as he saw Hamish behind him. The cousins are here for some tea, and he just said something awkward to Adam. "Aww, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself last night." Kiefer's eyes weren't concentrated to Adam at all, all he can see was a mad Hamish behind Adam. Adam noticed that Kiefer was looking at Hamish. "Oh, I believe you two know each other already. Haha, we'll be sitting there." Adam took the lead and Hamish's eyes took a few more seconds at Kiefer and finally, Hamish sat back with Adam. "Oh my gosh, did he mistake what I just said earlier?" Kiefer was panicking internally. It's working hours, Adam and Hamish took their orders and finally started talking. Kiefer can still feel every glance that Hamish gave to him. And he can feel the anger even from a distance. "I'm screwed," Kiefer murmured to himself. He wanted to magically disappear from the face of the world. He'd rather disappear than receive those glances from Hamish. Oh wait, if he was mad about it, then maybe... Just maybe, he... "Is he jealous?!" Kiefer whispered in his mind as his palm covered his mouth. Shocked by the thought. Hes wanted to celebrate but Hamish is still, in fact, mad. They finally paid for their orders and left. Kiefer felt the glare from Hamish before leaving the door. Kiefer wanted the time to pass by quickly so that he can finally buy Hamish a gift and give it to him. The thought of it made Kiefer giggle internally. Finally, Kiefer was sliding himself throught the midst of the crowd. It's Night Market, where people can buy a lot of things like clothes, phone case and many more. There are even street foods! Kiefer looked for the cutest matching bracelets that he could find. He saw a very cute one. Simple but cute enough to catch someone's eyes. He asked the vendor to wrap it up and paid for it. Then suddenly his phone buzzed, •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• Message from Maya (8:30 pm) Heyyyy... Since we're all free at Saturday, I decided to go let's all go to SM Sky Ranch! And watch a movie at SM! Remember, 10:00 am okay? •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• He happily entered the living room but a mad voice greeted him, "Explain." Hamish's voice was harsh but he didn't even shout nor did he yell. "Explain what?" Kiefer totally forgot the incident at the teahouse because his thoughts was replaced by his excitement. "Explain your 'I enjoyed last night' with Adam, explain why you're late again and why you are so happy." Kiefer shivered, Hamish's words sent shivers down his spine, "I... Well... Last night I..." "Speak!" This time, Hamish yelled, "I went on a ride on a swan boat with Adam and ate dinner with him" Kiefer was scared. The Hamish that never paid attention to him yelled at him for an explanation. "And?" "I-I was in the Night Market buying stuff," Kiefer answered meekly like a lamb that's about to be eaten by a lion. "With Adam?" Hamish scoffed at him, "I swear I wasn't with him tonight" Kiefer tried to convince Hamish as he was going to open a wrapped paper bag and showed the bracelet he bought for Hamish. "I got us a matching bracelets," Kiefer's tone was a bit sweeter this time. Sweet but intimidated by this hungry lion. Kiefer placed the bracelet next to the bottle of whiskey beside Hamish. Hamish did not respond at all to the bracelet. His eyes was focused on Kiefer. He stood up, and whispered to his ear, "We're not a highschool couple." Hamish was about to walk up to his study but Kiefer spoke "At least come along this Saturday with my friends." Hamish stopped and glanced at him, "What time?" "We should be there at 10:00 am." "Okay," Hamish continued on his journey up to his study and Kiefer went to bed.
