I am sitting with my father, Ivanna, and Elder Grey in my father’s office, filling them in on my theory about Leah’s power. She refused to be in this meeting, and I can’t fathom why. Her mood has been all over the place lately. One second, she loves me, the next second, I am the most irritating person in the world.
“It’s definitely an interesting idea,” my father muses, stroking his beard. “What do you think, my zoloste?”
“It’s possible. In the witch world, our abilities come from the type of magic we draw on. Although, I don’t believe that Leah is sensing mates per se. I think she is sensing people who will create a child together.”
