“Good morning, Luna.” “Congratulations, Luna.” “Luna, we’re overjoyed you have officially joined our pack.”
Every pack member I met this morning greeted me with a kind word. It’s odd. Over the time I’ve lived here, I’ve grown to care about the pack members, but this morning I woke with a deep desire to ensure their welfare and a strong sense of duty.
Receiving my coffee from a smiling kitchen Omega, I head out to the gardens to take my morning walk. I’ve tried to make it a habit to check in with each sector of Omegas on a different day. I know they could come to me if they had any issues, but I don’t want to be the type of Luna that sits in her office all day. I want to be out here, amongst my people.
