Christian graciously gave up our suite so I could get ready for tonight. If I’m honest, after the reaming Imogen gave him yesterday, I think he is scared to say no to her.
“Come on, Leah, it’s time you showed us the dress,” Imogen teases me. I had confessed to her last night that my dress is on the modest side.
Blushing, I take my dress out of the wardrobe and show Imogen and Hannah. I am a little embarrassed that I picked this out for myself. I was only trying to pick something fitting my new status.
“Yeah...” Hannah appraises my dress with a skeptical eye, “this won’t do.”
