“I don’t get it,” I lament to Kate, “we’ve mated, but he hasn’t marked me yet.”
Marking has been a point of contention between Christian and me lately. At first, when I asked why he hadn’t marked me, he told me that he wanted some time for it to be just us and for me the settle into the pack, as once I was marked, I would need to have my Luna ceremony and take up my duties. His next excuse was to wait until he got his Alpha position back. Then I had my accident, and as much as I am enjoying his utter devotion to me, I am recovered now. I am ready.
