The Prophesy: A Mortal's Fate

~ Two ~

"Are you insane? I'm engaged!" Scarlet said and showed the ring on her left finger. 

The stranger who abducts her didn't even care about it and smirked. He knows that she was just lying because of her unsure expression. 

"I don't care,  you will stay here unless I want to get rid of you." The stranger said and left Scarlet alone to get something for her to eat. 

"Whatever! The prince is probably searching for me now, and you will get caught." 

"If they can find you without being killed." The stranger remarked from his back that's facing Scarlet, who froze hearing his words. 

For her, it sounded like a threat and was actually a threat, because the man she's stuck with is an actual monster within that is waiting for her to give her soul.

"Who are you to say that? Are you a killer?!" Scarlet shrieked.

"No, but I'm way worse than what you're thinking." The stranger replied and left locking the room's door.

Scarlet didn't know what to do and she clearly didn't get what that stranger was saying. Even though he was a pretty man with hazel eyes, she thought that looks can always betray people.

However, she felt thankful when she got abducted. She finally escaped from being the future princess of North Ziryhn and from the Prince.

The only thing that she's worried about was her being kidnapped in an old house in the middle of nowhere without windows or any stuff around.

It's terribly creepy, to be honest, and she has to find a way to escape.

Scarlet immediately got out from bed and searched for something to unlock the door. She started searching from the drawers, cabinets, hairdressers and beneath the bed and found nothing but her used hairpin.

When she had an idea how to use her hairpin, she then prods the door's keyhole to open it

"Oh come on!" She moans irritated.

It was hard prodding the doors lock that Scarlet ended giving up. She didn't do anything for a second except when she heard his footsteps coming towards her room. She immediately stood up, and run towards the bed to lay and pretend that she's sleeping.

When Scarlet heard the door creaked open, he closed her eyes and prayed.

"Please let me escape..." 

"Wake up you have to eat." The man said and scarlet didn't move.

"Wake up." The man continued.

When she heard the surrounding silent, Scarlet even got more scared when she felt his breathing near her neck that caused for her to open her eyes and meet the stranger's eyes so close that her heart stopped beating for a second.

When she realizes the situation, she immediately pushed him hard and ran towards the open door to escape.

"Come back here!" She heard the stranger's voice echoed so loud around the big house.

She was so near to the main door to open and escape when he appeared right in front of her with eyes glowing red.

Scarlet got scared.

"W-What a-are you? How could you move so fast?" Scarlet asked and stuttered from fear?

The stranger glared angrily...

"You can't escape from me. I own you now!"

"HELP!!!!" Scarlet started screaming when he carried her back to her room.

It's obvious that he doesn't care at all and so she stopped defeated.

"No one can hear you here, stop screaming it's useless." He said and harshly placed Scarlet on the bed.

She flinched from pain.

"What do you want from me?!" Scarlet asked irritated.

"It's none of your business, why don't you take a rest will you?" He demanded.

"Rest? How can I rest living with a monster like you? I don't even know your name." She complained and the man stared at her.

He sighed.

"This little human is such a pain." He whispered biting his lips to control his temper while Scarlet kept waiting for his reply.

"Damian, "

"Damian who?"

"Just Damian.." He said his name and Scarlet threatened him.

"Great! I'll make sure to mention your name when I escape here, "

Damian grinned.

"Why would you like to escape here when you don't like it back there?"

"What did you say? How did you know that?" Scarlet started asking Damian who's face literally didn't make an expression.

"It's because every girl I saw at the ball looked very happy except for you." Damian answered interested of Scarlet's thoughts.

When she blinked three times in a row, Damian knew she's guilty.

"It's none of your business you wouldn't understand anyway." She said upset.

"Well suit yourself you won't be having much time to live anyway." Damian suddenly said and Scarlet widened her eyes of what she have heard from him.

"What do you mean?" She asked with her voice shaking.

Damian looked at her with evil deadly stares.It was when she realzed his eyes changes it colors whenever he's mad.

From hazel to bloody red, Damian grabbed Scarlet's neck with force choking her out of breath.

"P-Please s-stop...." She barely says.

"I'm really trying my best here, so will you cooperate for a little bit?" Daniel whispered out of his temper.

He doesn't know what is exactly going on but Scarlet definitely smells and feel like something he wants and doesn't want at the same time.

He's confused.

She was supposed to be his meal, but whenever their eyes meet it makes his mind stir in fantasy.

"W-what d-ddo yyou w-want?!?" She whispered begging but Damian didn't listen to her.

He simply got mad hearing Scarlet refusing his demands. He hates getting out of control and it's only this time since he ever got insulted a lot.

He made it even worse for her when he started losing himself.

His fangs started coming out from his teeth and his eyes colored blood red and dilated from insanity.

All he knew was he wanted to kill her and she has no choice because Damian has the power to do so.

And just when he's about to take a bite from her neck, he suddenly stopped and lets go of her.

In a swift moment, everything changed when Damian moved so fast to fight a vicious being that was about to haunt Scarlet..

If Damian wasn't fast he wouldn't be able to outrun an immortal being that she never knew existed.

Scarlet on the other side just stood there watching in shock. They were both moving so fast until Damian got to kill it's same being.

It took her a few seconds to understand everything and she felt pain even though she doesn't know the reason why?

It was a very terrifying moment indeed, she never expected to see one and Damian alone is terrifying to deal with.

And as Damian got closer and closer to hear, her heart beat. Scarlet started to even get scared when he looked at her with a charming death stare.

"You're a Vampire." She said hitching her breath.

"Are you scared?" Damian asked, his face looked so serious.

"Yes." She truthfully said.

"Are you going to kill me?" She continued asking terrified from Damian.

But he only grinned and answered...

"No."
