Natalie was dozing in the sun next to the pool on a large flat rock lying on her stomach her back exposed to the sunlight. She had removed her boots and changed her jeans for a pair of shorts.
When a shadow crossed over her her eyes snapped open and she looked up to see a single winged person flying round over the top of them. Natalie glanced down at the peacefully sleeping dragon then formed her wings and soared into the air.
She flew up to the top terrace and the winged figure flew down to meet her.
“Raven!” Natalie said in relief as the figure came closer.
As he landed and looked around he smiled. “Nice place, might have to stay here a while myself…”
