Natalie glided in over City Hall Park and landed in the relative darkness over by some trees. Then walked out and looked around.
Dawn was only an hour away and she knew that the demons would all be disappearing as light approached.
She saw there were only a few people around at this time. She noticed one particularly shady looking character under one of the ornate gas lamps by the fountain. He was leaning on the street light, his arms folded, his head down. His long hair was hiding his face. The thing that struck her the most about him was the color of his hair. It was the same color as hers. She frowned, deeply concerned.
As she walked up the path towards the fountain he raised his head and smiled at her smugly. Natalie cursed. She was going to kill Vince when she saw him.
