As they exited the portal they found themselves standing outside the entrance to a cave on a deserted beach.
“I really thought the portal would end up in some grand palace.” Daniel said a bit miffed.
Londo laughed. “Portals are generally kept hidden…it took me ages to find it.”
Mikhail looked around and saw a forest bordering the beach, stretching for miles in either direction. “Pretty desolate place.”
Londo chuckled. “Ha! You would think so, but right now we are being watched…don’t worry about that.”
