Mikhail drew in a deep breath and fixed Andromeda with an intense stare.
“Do you know what I did when I killed Mazacain?”
Andromeda paused and his brow furrowed.
“I drained his blood…took his power.”
“Is that how you’re a level six? I thought it was because of her…” Andromeda flicked his head over to where Natalie was.
“Her?” Mikhail snorted. “You really think you were going to take my mate’s blood?”
“Your mate?” Andromeda blanched.
“That’s right…” Mikhail said, adjusting his grip on the sword, reversing it so he was holding the hilt in his fist, the blade resting up along his arm.
“You’re going to have a demi-god for a mate? And you think you can become the next Demon King?” Andromeda laughed.
“You think you can stop me?”
