“Welcome Master Hayato…” Mikhail said as the Tengu were escorted into the castle’s main courtyard.
Master Hayato grinned like a Cheshire cat and shook Mikhail’s hand vigorously.
“You were victorious!” he said gleefully as he looked over at the carcass of the dead dragon.
“Indeed, and we are having a ceremonial burning tonight, apparently…with wine and food…so you’re in luck, you’re invited to attend.”
Master Hayato bowed his head. “We are most honoured to be invited to see off the former Lord of the Fire Lands…thank you.”
“Hmm.” Mikhail snorted and turned away.
“Come this way please, Master Hayato…your men will be shown to comfortable quarters…” Gareth said as Mikhail walked off towards the castle with Londo beside him.
