Dinner goes by in a blissful haze and then he takes my hand leading me into the lounge. The soft music follows us there.
The lights are low and the fire creates a romantic feel to the room. Butterflies jump around in my stomach like crazy in anticipation of what I know is about to happen. This could not feel any more perfect.
He sits on one of the large sofa’s and pulls me down into his lap. Ours lips so close as I fall into place. His eyes are shining with what I can only describe as love and I’m certain my own are a mirror to his. We just look at each other for a heartbeat, memorising this moment.
His lips so gentle when they find mine, his hand over my heart where our mark now solidifies our connection. My heart that is racing for him.
