Jason POV     The midterm break had already begin today and it's going to last one week. Most schools have their midterm break for just four days including Saturday and Sunday. But ours is a week.    So I'm glad. It a week from seeing people looking afraid of me, teachers glaring at me, my friends talking about some stupid girls and sport, writing notes....and seeing Laila.     But actually I think she is the only thing I will miss about school for one week.     It actually sounds crazy that I'm going to miss her but I do.     And why? I don't know.    Christian had been playing some stupid soccer game on his phone since we've entered the car. And he look so totally obsessed by it and it get on my nerves.     The truth is I miss him talking to me. Even if I sometimes half listen to what he say, I still enjoy listening to him. "Hey can you stop playing that game?" I asked.     He pause the game and look at me quizzically. "Do you want to play Jason?" He asked with a small smile on his face. "You know I don't like football." "Common try it. I will teach you." "If it was basketball, I would have love to learn it." I said.     He rolled  his eyes at me and he played  the game. It's like he notice I was watching him, so he end the game. He put the phone on top of his bag. "Jason can I talk to you about something you might not like?"     I didn't say anything. I just frown. Since he said that I know what he probably want to say won't be good. "What?" I asked. "About Laila." He said. "What about her?" I ask raising a brow at him. "Can you just let the girl be? Don't you see the way she look. You are making things hard for her." "Do you like her?" I asked with an hoarse tone. "She is the first person to stand up to you in years. And i admire her for that." He said honestly.    I looked  at him because that's not really the answer I was expecting.    So he added "Which boy doesn't like her? Laila is beautiful. She's even have curves with nice tit and all that. Those beautiful hairs in front of her forehead. And she is even intelligent." He chuckles. "She even challenges you in class. No one..... I mean no one had ever break that rule."   I just stayed  quiet. "So what do you think Jason?" I said nothing. "You know..... I know about Sandra. You are using her for your game." He smile. "That's new you know. I never see you use someone else except your friends."    He looked  at me. "She steps on my wrong side." I said flatly. "You are my best friend Jason and I know you better than anyone. So I want you to be honest with me. Do you perhaps have feelings for Laila?" "We are here." The driver said. And for the first time I am grateful to my old driver because he just save me from the question. I don't know why I want to avoid the question but I don't know what to say. I don't even know how I feel. I have not care about a thing except my drawings for years. "We will talk later Chris." I said and I took my bag and came down from the car.     As I walked  into the living room, I met our younger house help, a girl about a year older than me. She greeted me but as usual I did not reply. She just walk away like I didn't do anything. She is already use to my behavior.     I met my nanny on the way to my room. She smile that her usual bright smile. "Hello boy. How's school today?" She ask "Normal." I said.    She just smiled. "I will see more of you now that you're on break. What do you want to eat?" "Anything but not now." I replied.     She nod."Okay." She look like she want to say something else. But I don't want to know. I'm already getting bored standing here talking to her. "Jason. Your mom is coming back today." She said. "Will you want to go with me to the airport?" She asked hopefully. "No. She knows her way home." I said harshly and walk past her to my room slamming the door behind me.     I locked  myself in my room consuming myself with my painting. I don't want to see her. I wish she didn't have to come home when I'm on midterm break.    The next day when I woke up I was so  hungry since I didn't eat when I came back from school or dinner just to avoid seeing my mom.     I took my bath and change into a polo shirt and short. I looked  at the time. It's past time my mother eat breakfast. She should be in her study making calls and staring at useless documents.    I smiled  that I won't see her on my way and maybe till I get my food to my room.    I left for the kitchen. I didn't see any one. My food is in its particular spot. In a medium size cooler.    I brought out the food and place it on the dining table in the kitchen. Since I did not see anyone I decide to eat the food in the kitchen not the dining room.  She rarely come to the kitchen.    I have barely taken three spoon of the food when I heard footstep. I look at the door to see who was coming to the kitchen. "Jason." My mom said surprise written all over her face. She is not the only one surprise because I am. I don't expect to see her.    I looked  away angrily. "Jason. How are you? I've miss you." She said coming closer. She try to touch my hand and I jerk away. She was hurt but I don't care. "Well the feeling is not mutual." I said and smirk. "Can you just take whatever you need and leave? I know you have work to do." "Jason you don't have to be rude. But I'm glad you are okay. How is school?"    I said nothing. This conversation is already making my blood boil. "I love you Jason. You know I've tried. Can't you just forgive me for whatever I had done?" She said. Her eyes were swelling with tears.    I stood up and begin to walk out. She hold me to stop me. "Jason please."    I take my hand away from hers. "Okay I'll leave. come and finish your food." She said moving back. "I lost my appetite." I said coldly and left the kitchen without so much as a backward glance at her.
