Rose POV
I keep my gaze fixed on the potatoes as I peel the skin one by one. Vanya stood near the rice pot.
I haven't seen her in a while and she suddenly entered the room I'm staying in to call me to the kitchen.
Briella is chopping the tomatoes. The other lady whose name I'm yet to know is making some curry.
No words were exchanged, we simply did our chores.
"Lord Hames is going to have lunch with us, please cover your hair and try to keep your voice low," Vanya spoke.
I turn my head, "okay."
My gaze goes to Briella who is having a confused and worried expression on her face.
Her gaze meets mine before she gives me an assuring smile. I smile back then turn back to finish my chores.
"If you are done with the potatoes, hand them to Anubis," Vanya said.
"Okay."
