Third POV
Ayren passed the plate to Zeid and Dev passed the plate to Amara. Rose handed the chicken roast bowl to Zeid. Zeid took that from her.
"Thank you," Zeid said.
Rose licked her lips as she started eating her food. She pushed the hair strand back before keeping her hand down on her thigh. None could see her hands or wrists.
She looked at Zeid, his right hand is placed on his thigh as he ate with his left hand. Rose looked at the others, they are busy having conversations with one other.
Rose placed her hand on Zeid's hand. Zeid stopped eating, he felt Rose's hand on the back of his hand. Rose gently caressed Zeid's hand. She just wants him to know that she is proud of him.
"Rose, why did you stop eating? Didn't like it?" Dev asked.
"Is it spicy for you? You could try this,"
