Third POV
Hayes walks back to the room that he is sharing with his brothers. Everyone is in their rooms getting ready for the night. The ball begins at eight and now it is six.
Hayes knocked on the door before entering the room. He looked at Caspian who is sitting on the bed. "Where were you, young man?" Caspian asked when he saw Hayes. Hayes wandered towards the table he placed the book he is carrying on the table and turned around to face Caspian.
Caspian looked at the book, he understood that Hayes went somewhere to finish the book. "The place was peaceful?"
Hayes nodded his head but his thoughts went back to Zeid. His meeting with Zeid, Hayes doesn't know if he should tell Caspian about the interaction.
