Julian's POV
“LOOK OUT!” Aurelia shouts.
I hit the brakes hard and turn the steering wheel left. The tires squeal loudly on the road but t’s not enough. There’s a horrible crash as metal hits metal. We’ve crashed.
My heart is racin as I turn off the engine and look at Aurelia.
“Are you okay?” I ask with my voice betraying my panic.
She’s pale with her eyes wide but she nods.
“I'm fine. Just... shocked.”
I feel relief instantly at the fact that she's not hurt but I still need to see the damage and who we hit.
I take off my seatbelt and open the door. Outside a small crowd is gathering already. Cars are stopped all over with their horns honking. People are yelling.
