The man shrieked in agony, blood spraying from his mouth. Officers swarmed Jasper, several of them clinging to him just to drag him back by force. Jasper struggled like a wild animal, his eyes bloodshot and manic. "Jasper! Stand down!" The commander's voice boomed from behind him. Jasper gasped for air, his entire frame shaking from the searing pain of the wounds on his back. But he only stared at the dried lake of blood and the shreds of fabric. His mind was a screaming void.
