I was busy making a new scented oil for the Mother Queen when I heard the door open. I knew who it was but I was still shocked to see him.
Whati walked into the room with a smile.
I didn’t return the smile.
And so his smile turned into a frown. “Not happy to see me?”
What I wanted to do so badly was to give him a hard slap across the face and then a tight hug, but instead, I sat there and frowned.
He walked over to where I was sitting on the floor and sat in front of me. “I’m sorry.” He surprised me by saying.
“That’s all you have to say?”

“The moon has gone through one full cycle and I didn’t hear from you until now.” I said as I held back my tears. “Do you know how scared I was? I thought something happened to you!”
