I can buy a dress." I shook my head. "No. I want to," I said as I placed a credit card with no limit on the table next to her plate. "Besides, you'd better get used to it." She smiled. "What's that supposed to mean?" I leaned closer and looked directly into her eyes. "It means that now that I found you again, I'm not going to let you go." She was about to say something, but stopped short when the doorbell rang. "Ignore it," I said, leaning in to give her a kiss. "It's probably just the doorman."
